I personally feel really hurt by this sentiment because I've been thinking of getting wings on my back for a pretty long time. I wasn't aware it used to be such a popular thing, because for me the idea came from one of my original concepts for a character that is now someone else [because I realized I had made the character a self-insert and I gave them a personality xD]. So yeah, wings on the back, pretty personal for me. If I'm ever goin to get them, I'mma make sure my tattoo artist isn't like some of these ones, they can fuck right off.

I would say it's a commitment because it's one giant tattoo. Like she can't add to it. And it is very unoriginal. I have a similar shaped tattoo on my spine and shoulders and while I do love it I wish I had thought about the future more. As similar to Bella if I wanted to add to it I can't.

I think it's because they have to actually tattoo basic stuff all day. If you had to draw the same picture everyday you'd get tired of looking at it too. Doesn't make it right or less hypocritical, but I get why they get tired of seeing it

I don't really love that they think just because someone is pretty they get a pass on bad tattoos or tattoos they don't typically like. No shade to the artists because everyone you interview seems super genuine, just surprised to see that!

MY GUYS. I have a huuuuuuuuge koi fish on an upper thigh done by a traveling artist, visiting at my old favorite shop. I'd looked thru his portfolio and he had gorgeous water pieces so I was extremely excited to get him on my skin. Like 4 hours into it, I noticed his hands were shaking so I offered we break for food and rest but he wanted to push thru. Maybe another hour- it was done. So beautiful. Still so happy with it, almost 15 years later. Color has stayed so well. So this guy takes his hat off, and I noticed a freaking massive lump on his head. He'd been in a damn motorcycle accident the day before and his hands were shaking because his pain meds had worn off. He didn't want to stop and take his meds because he'd be out of it and wouldn't be able to finish the tattoo. .... ... .. . Terrifying but what a fucking champ. I really wish I knew his name or where he ended up because I'd be so down to get more from him.

The under appreciated tattoo I think is for Corey La Barrie who sadly passed away in 2020. I don’t know who Taylor holder is but Corey’s merch was “under appreciated” so I think that may be a tribute to him.

I love the last artists story. Some life lessons in the middle of the night with a tattoo gun from a questionable "mentor" of sorts. I think artists in general have similar stories about finding out more info than you bargained for from someone.

Inked is full of gatekeepers lol I honestly didn't recognize most of the artists from this video. The old Inked artists had better opinions and were real no matter who it was Seems like everyone in this video just complimented the people they liked, and didn't give any constructive criticism or real opinions. Just a bunch of bias. Boring lol.

Coincidentally the person that was drunk driving the car was Daniel Silva one of the ex competitors on master ink. Everyone in Corey's friend group got a similar tattoo Also I don't get the" wasting space" comments on that girls tattoos. I mean if thats what she likes then that is what's she going to get. On everyone wants to have 100% of their bodies tattoed, some people like to have skin breathing between tattoos.
