I got a case threw out because before trial, the judge told my lawyer and me, if I would be convicted, she is going to give me jail time. So I said okay. So when the case started, she asked, "was I forced or intimidated into my plea of guilty?" I said yes! The entire court went silent. She then asked, by who Mr. W....? I replied, "by you judge. You said if I'm found guilty, your recommending jail time!" My lawyer (court appointed) looked shocked, and he just looked at the prosecutors. The judge had to remove herself and my next court date, they dropped all charges! She took a bet I didn't know my rights and crapped out! 😂😂😂😂

Why does strength equate to physical strength? Why is it not having the emotional intelligence to set the tone in a household even before the child is born) without hitting being the forefront of the conversation? I don’t believe that corporal punishment teaches children how to be accountable for their actions. It just teaches fear, how to become sneaky and pain. Parents giving them actual real life lessons and meeting children at their level while bringing them into the the next makes actual change. Hitting should be the LAST resort.

Every instance of discipline doesn't require a spanking but it's a option in your response to dealing with your kids, some you can reason with ,some you take certain privileges away . It's been working since the beginning of time I've had my spankings it didn't harm me and I deserved everyone of them.Sometimes they disciplined me without a spanking ,now what we have is terrible parenting and disfunctional households with clueless households with single parent households , back in the day when we had nice black neighborhoods we had two parent married couples as the majority and norm many of this young generation never experienced that post crack era.

My parents always disciplined me physically. After my father passed away, she eased up a lot on my younger brothers, and you can truly see the difference in not only our behavior, but our self discilpine as well. My room isnt perfect, but I make my bed, and I sweep every morning before I shower and fire up my the coffee. I started working at 14 and my other brother has great grades and will go to a top Uni on a full ride. The other 2 younger ones dont clean up after themselves, they overexagerate their efforts and contributions and feel like we should kiss their feet over the $200 they give in rent each month. Meanwhile I've been paying $500-600 in rent alone for 9 years, since I was 15! By no means am I recommending you take your day out on your kid either, but even a pinch when they talk at church, or a belt to the behind when they disrespect you or do something bad at school is OK! Look at how horribly mannered children are these days, whenever a well behaved child comes into my job (I've served in restaurants all over Los Angeles since 18, and worked as a busboy from 15 to 18 years old) I go out of my way to make the kid happy. If they're a shit stain, I actually try to fuck with the kid, ngl.😂
