When we do it it's fraud and theft but when they do it "misappropriated" funds....

It would be embezzlement and fraud to start with, but 'misappropriation of funds' sounds so much nicer. Like she spent money for new carpeting on furniture instead...'these funds were misapplied'. Then a host of other illegal acts. If a Magistrate can not sign warrants, all of those that were violent cases should be up for review and all lesser charges dismissed on the basis of illegal arrest and imprisonment.

For anyone who has paid attention for any of this since the beginning, how could ANYONE be surprised? "Judge," and I use that title lightly, James, from almost the beginning, treated the fund as her personal slush fund, and the court as her fiefdom. I love how "certain" people who's job is to enforce the law, when caught breaking said laws, claim ignorance of the aforementioned laws.

She acted like she was above the law. Why would she think that she could use the court funds for her own personal use and NOT get caught or penalized?? The part that showed she’s CONTROLLING is when she made a rule for people to NOT be allowed to enter the courtroom with jeans or sweaters❗️. Witnesses go to courtrooms, too. They could still look presentable in jeans or sweaters. They are NOT going to a job interview to get hired❗️

As citizens we are unable to use ignorance of the law as a viable defense. That's law 101, sitting in on several different courts in several different states. I've come to the conclusion that most judges believe that the courtroom is their unapproachable sanctum where they have unlimited power and control. Judges have morphed into self-serving entities that think they are the law and the laws don't apply to them. Judges are nothing more than impartial referees that are supposed to keep the DA and Defense equal throughout court proceedings. Now judges think they get to interject their personal thoughts and beliefs into the court proceedings which is completely unethical and contradictory to the way a judge is supposed to conduct themselves. And here's a serious question. Is a court of the people really the people's when judge's close the courts to the public?

That shows she’s a CONTROL FREAK❗️. That’s why they removed that stupid rule‼️. These judges act like they’re people’s parents to determine how they should dress. It’s NOT like their going for a job interview or getting paid by her. These judges act like they own that courtroom.

How pathetic of you!! .. She was elected to the position and re-elected several times. She's terrible. And whatever your indication is, you can find thousands of whites who abuse their power. Beginning with Trump. This reporter who kept reporting on her, and the city officials who dogged her, up to the Michigan Supreme Court judge who tossed her out were all blacks. 🤨... Were they "diversity hire"?? If that's true, then we need more of them, since they did a good job.

A Magistrate can still sign a warrant but that is not their job because usually they deal with misdemeanors and family law and other lower court actions. So the Magistrate is probably not in trouble for signing the warrants. The judge is for pushing her work off to the Magistrate.
