Episode 5 - Swamp Oak to Yourdamung
After a year of planning, in September 2022, we embarked on a north-to-south end-to-end on the 1000-plus kilometre Bibbulmun Track. It was a journey that presented its challenges, both physical and mental. This series showcases the beauty of the south-west of Western Australia and what it’s like to undertake a long distance through-hike through such spectacularly varied terrain & flora.
In this episode Jude & Glenn enjoy the serenity of the Murray campsite situated on the banks of the river of the same name and get the thoughts of their newly made Kiwi friends, Greg & Victoria on the Bibbulmun Track.

Certainly the best time, in my opinion, to do the Bib
This was a beautiful section to view, the changing vegetation, the boulevard of trees just stunning and the magic of Aussie wildflowers

It was a beautiful section of the walk. The wildflowers were captivating,
I camped at your soup & lunch spot last month, an overnight stop between Yourdamung and Murray. That plastic chair was very handy, drank my last of my Collie port and watched the sunset.

Very enjoyable again. Good to see those Kiwis on the Track! Is Jude's pack an Osprey Eja? What size? I have one but don't know if it's the same.

Hi, yes the Eja 58L, but I have the small so only actually 55L capacity. Great pack, I love it 🥰
