The thing I most like about bands like Judas Priest, Accept, Queen and such is they do NOT treat people or fans like the band is above them, they are all very down to earth and personable and seldom take themselves too seriously.. you wont find many acts today that have THAT class..

I've seen Judas Priest live 2x and I can confirm they take themselves seriously big time. They just come on stage and destroy the place big time with their volume set up to the max. They certainly don't screw around.

When Rob had his house in Arizona, I hung out around him(Through the band Surgical Steel) from 15-19(when he was in town). He's such a funny, sweet, wonderful, caring, amazing man!

For those of you that don't get the 'menswear' reference from Rob, it's a reference to 'Are You Being Served', a British sitcom run from 1972-1985 set in a department store. It was considered very outrageous at the time, and definitely not something you'd get away with now.

Dave Murray is also one of those 5.

Richie Faulkner ended up playing in the band which has been widely influential for him and even inspired him to take up guitar. I can barely relate how happy the guy must feel.

I like how throughout the interview you can just hear the crunching leather.

They seem like very humble & down to earth guys. I absolutely love Rob's voice I could listen to him talk all day

MyGameplaying Actually, I believe Zep formed in '68, and the band we know as Judas Priest today didn't come together until around late '69 or '70. The original Judas Priest wasn't exactly the same band as the one that exists today, although they did share a common member. The Priest that's still going was first formed in 1970 as Freight, a power trio comprising K.K. Downing, Ian Hill, and John Ellis. So they're not quite as old as Led Zep, but they're definitely close! And it blows my mind that Glenn Tipton is older than Robert Plant!

Saw Priest about 10 years ago and they were the loudest band I'd ever seen live. Rob was such a badass onstage.

I’m 55 yrs old.. I grew up with this...and just the other day I decided to listen to them again... omg. It got my blood moving...ended up with a 2 day marathon of Judas Priest including some guitar lesson videos.. I really feel bummed out I’m so old that we didn’t have KZread to help learn how to play the cool guitar licks of the day... I would be a much better guitarist if we did. For sure... modern music isn’t the same,

Rob Halford is always a great interview. The dude is funny as hell, witty, great sense of humor, humble and an all around down to earth man. Hell, all three of them are down to earth guys, seen them all in separate interviews. Glenn looks like Harry Dean Stanton in sun glasses and a blond wig.

Most guitarists start playing when they are really young, Glenn said he started when he was 19??! Dam, he picked it up quickly.

Glenn's illness began to show itself...I loved that man as one of my guitar influences in the 70's and eighties!

I'll never forget the day Halford came out of the closet, all the sudden the lyrics on 'Defenders Of The Faith' took on a whole new meaning and I never looked at the band the same way again...!!!

This interview was from 6 years ago but you can see the near 4 year age gap between Glenn and Rob, also because Glenn was battling Parkinson's disease at that time (without public knowledge). Glenn looks way older than Rob here.

They still put on a great show. Mr Tipton didn't play that night, sadly. The singing was as the record. As a fan I would have liked to have seen KK Downing fill in. May God bless all the members of the band and thier families.

I gave the album 9 out 10 after the second listen but.....adding the 5 extra songs I give 10 out 10. Snakebite is amazing. The last song of the 5 "never forget" is dedicade it to us...the fans, its a thank you from them to us, it make me cry a little, thank you guys. Its judas Priest, at least the are still making good music for us. THANK YOU JUDAS PRIEST

All the bands from Black country/Birmingham never seem to lose touch with their roots. Keep grounded even though they are megga famous. Sabbath, Priest, Slade, Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne to name a few.

Rocka Rolla is an awesome album of theirs, but they never perform any of the material from that record live, which is a shame, because, as Rob Halford said there is some very heavy material on it, such as “Dying to Meet You”, “Run of the Mill”, and “Cheater”. There are some other pieces of music on that record that round out the menu and showcase the band’s talent and versatility. I would like to see them perform some of the material live from that album. I would also really like to see Rob filling in for Dio with Black Sabbath, that would be a treat. Thank you for posting this video! Please have an excellent and awesome day! 🙂

That won't help much as it sounds like it's under his collar or something.

It's pretty hard to believe that Glenn and Ian (Hill) are the only members of Priest who have appeared on every single album (both studio and live) that they have ever made.

Rob and Glenn are class acts. Glenn is one of many influences of mine. Rock On!
