Zampa never forget mata when he was at his peak in 2012-13 scoring 20 and assisting 35, that’s Frank Lampard territory. He was truly world class player that mourinho gave up on so easily

@@pedroneves3153 agreed although I can see why he did it though. Watching bayern Munich in the 12/13 season, they were a complete unit when defending and attacking. Chelsea were often disjointed in defence and it was seen that in order to win the title and consistently challenge for UCL you needed to have a team of 11 with physical qualities working non stop at recovering the ball

Because Jose wanted to play Oscar, as him being a defensive coach, Oscar did more defensive work on the opposing teams holding midfielder. If you remember Oscar was quite a tenacious player despite his slight frame

Juan Mata was a pleasure to watch. He played some beautiful football while at Chelsea. Real pity he was sold cos I think Mata, Costa, Hazard and Fabregas would have been some attack
