@@themaltman34 Probably not, but, if he was just a tad more effecient from the field, or at least the spot up 3, he would be my definition of the perfect point guard. I don't really want my lead guard doing too much personally, so being elite defensively and really well rounded on ball and off ball on offense is most important to me.

He will get recognition when he wins the east in Milwaukee. They gave away everything for him bc they know how legit he is.

One of the best 2-way players in the game. Defense is always undervalued and offense is overvalued. It's very few guys who can do both at a high level because defense takes a lot of energy, especially if you are also good offensively but these players get overlooked for the scorers who couldn't defend to save their lives! Notice though, the greatest players do both at the highest level, but if you aren't of the all time greatest, fans don't care about you if you aren't a flashy scorer! Name a player who gets a lot of national and media love who isn't a big or LBJ, who isn't a top tier scorer, but is good both offensively and defensively but not as flashy a scorer. The people who get the shine are very good to elite offensively but average to bad defensively! Just go down the line. Probably Giannis and he's not really an offender in the traditional sense, he just has talent and natural body to be able to do work inside, he isn't a good shooter but he is so agile, tall, big and strong that he'll score regardless. Not saying he isn't a scorer but he's mainly a one dimensional scorer. Curry is an absolute monster shooter but an average to bad defender. Kyrie is a terrible defender most of the time but has his moments of being really good. Donovan is a poor defender. Murray is OK. Luka can't guard worth a damn! All of them and more, get love but guys like Jrue are small name, when he shuts down people and is a very good offender! Small markets don't help but some guys still get big names in those markets. I don't care what people say, Jrue could have won in the same manner if he was a Warrior in place of Stephen! Again, Curry is great but so is Jrue! Defenders need credit dammit!!!! Just look at the best players of all time, at their best they are good to top tier defenders to go with their top level offense! Pippen was underrated because of MJ true enough but even with MJ he should be seen higher on all time lists than he is! That dude was beast on both ends but Jordan was Jordan. Look at how good he was when MJ retired to play baseball. I have and could continue to go on and on...
