The Japanese audience was praised on Polish TV for the great atmosphere in the arena. Polish players said that the Japanese fans reminded them of Polish fans. Apparently it doesn't matter who the audience is supporting, as long as the support is lively and polite.

Of course because Japanese are way better than Polish in human being. Like in this video tells you those Japanese never ever boo you even your team is leading whereas Polish in their home against Japan, They gave Japanese team a big booing from the very beginning to the end.

I think that the Japanese coach simply understood that if he had released the main team, it would have been difficult, because Poland is in 1st place in the table, and the main players of Japan would have been very tired, against such a strong national team as Poland, and so the Japanese coach gave gave the main team a rest so that they could confidently win the next national teams, and gave the second team good experience against strong Polish players.

He's surprisingly has great connection with Otsuka. N he's not afraid to set Larry in the middle. I hope Coach Blain will give him more time on the court to develop connection with other players.

Poland, or rather coach Grbic, has a very big problem. Who should be left off the team for the Olympics? Recipients - Leon, Sliwka, Semeniuk, Bednorz, Fornal, Szalpuk.Środek-Kochanowski, Bieniek, Huber, Klos, Poreba. Playmakers: Janusz, Firlej, Lomacz, libero-Zatorski, Popiwczak, Szymura. Note that Poland changed all players during the match without reducing the high quality of the game. Poland has so many world-class players that it could field three equally strong squads at the same time. This means that you cannot be fully tactically prepared to fight her. The Japanese coach fielded a second team because, having no chance, there was no point in upsetting the leading Japanese players with a loss. It was better to save them mentally and physically for the next match where they have a chance. It's a good plan.

Am glad the coach of Japan decided to do this line up- best way to give experience to your team is to play against the defending champions. I expected the outcome but as a Japan team fan, just so happy this line up got a chance to test their strengths (and weaknesses) with the defending champions. And always props to the Japanese crowd for being so appreciative, polite and just enjoying a good volleyball match- definitely one of the best crowds to play in whether you are the home or away team.😊❤🎉

As a Pole myself i respect Japan and theyr players. You can see them losing by big points but they are still smiling. They play to play not to win. Also i heard that 3 strong players weren't there due to injuries wich would make the match more competetive. We don't have Leon.

3 strong players, more like 6 lol: main outsides Ishikawa and Ran, main libero Yamamoto, main setter Sekita, main opposite Nishida, main middle blocker, Onodera. It seems to me that they decided they didn't really need this match as they've been doing well and took this opportunity to let the bench players get practice and experience while getting to rest their main players. I came to this conclusion because they literally put none of them in, they even registered Ishikawa as the libero so that there wouldn't even be a chance of him hitting. And Poland is a really strong team so if they had any illusions of wining they know they would have had to go all out. And even though they were losing you could see the rest of the players on the bench cheering on those on the field, just being happy for the points they did get.
