finally an outfit thats not an overly tight dress and too short edit : to clear out misunderstandings, the point im trying to make is that sm gave her a comfortable outfit to perform in. sm usually put her in very short and tight dresses and often you can see her getting uncomfortable and non stop fixing her dress every few seconds. i did not mean this to be a misogynistic thing where females have to cover up or whatever bullshit.

I mean we wouldn’t really be able to know if it’s comfortable or not seeing as denim can be very restrictive and warm. But didn’t joy say she likes wearing short dresses so I wouldn’t really say her wearing jeans in indicative of whether she did or didn’t have a say in her outfit.

Oh, she actually sang with live vocals and a live band before this stage in Sketchbook! It's my favorite stage, tbh. She also sang Day by Day and Love on Top by Beyoncé there. Somehow, the effort that's put on her face tells me that maybe she was indeed singing but the mic was, of course, off. Not even talking about the first half of the song, you can clearly see that probably no sound was coming out of her mouth, but after that, there are some things and gestures that you just can't fake while lip synching, and she was making them :(

I'm glad they did a choreo that fits the song.
