This was not the Euroleague, but FIBA's European League. When the competition still made sense. No guaranteed spots. Not licenses. Restrictions on how much you could spend, how many foreign players you could buy.

@@tnosugar This was the first season of the Euroleague. Until 1990/91 season, only champions could play in the Champions Cup.
I met Rafael jofresa in Palma once I didn't recognize him and told me that he was having difficult time after Djorgevic has scored on him.
4 Euroleagues in a row from the same country, a record that will never be broken. 88/89 89/90 90/1 91/92 YU💪💪💪

USSR, 6 Euroleagues in a row: 1958, 1958/59, 1959/60, 1960/61, 1961/62, 1962/63.
