Journey to Vancouver: First Day of Our Alaska Cruise Adventure

Welcome to the first day of our incredible Alaska sea and land tour! Our adventure began with a flight from Atlanta to the vibrant city of Vancouver. After a long travel day, we spent the afternoon and evening exploring this beautiful Canadian city.
We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Coast, a renowned seafood restaurant in Vancouver, where we savored some of the freshest and most delicious seafood. After dinner, we took a leisurely walk along the waterfront, admiring the stunning views and soaking in the city's charm.

Long travel day BUT a nice room and a great meal at the end. Thanks for posting!

It was a nice room. But then again it should have been at $500/night! Too bad everything in Vancouver is so expensive.

Hi guys!!! We've been watching you since we met on the train! What a fabulous trip we had!! We love Calimari but I'm with you Laurie!.... Cilantro tastes like soap to me. :( I'd rather have my Calimari with a good marinara sauce. "Amuse Busche" literally means it amuses the mouth. "Amuse bouche is a French term that refers to a complimentary, bite-sized appetizer or hors d'oeuvre that some restaurants serve before a meal." Sounds like yours was delicious. I miss Alaska already! Would like to go back and spend a week in Vancouver. I fell in love with the Granville Market and wish I could have had a week in an AirBnB to cook from foods from the market there! I agree...what a preview Vancouver is for a fabulous vacation!!!

Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We only wish we had met our group earlier in the voyage. We didn't make it to the market, but it sounds interesting.
