Thank you for the pictures of this lovely city. When I go to Vancouver, I left the bag in the motel and go explore Metro Vancouver by feet with a map. I discovered the background, the people, the spirit. I don't do the touristic tour. In that way, I can see the beauty but also the less glamourous aspects of the town. Nobody will propose to visit East Hasting street but it's part of the life of this town. Visiting a mall can be very instructive. And on a sunday, when you don't know where to go in Surrey, you peek an unknown borrough, you cross a residential area, the industrial zone and discover Tannery Park, a tribute to the Norwegian fishermen.

@@anthonyparisella7224 You never specified your comment was about freeways elsewhere, so maybe you need to study the concept of specificity and how to express it properly in writing. Beyond that, as I said, freeways suck dude. So do cars. I drove taxi for a living for a relatively short time btw. Autos can be useful, but giving your civilization over to cars and trucks and the attendant infrastructure at the expense of other important elements in urban living is, um, JUST STUPID. Get it now? Or do wish me to elaborate further?

Watch the people from the burbs leave their garbage at the beach, pot smoking and alcohol drinking on the beach, nasty bike riders speeding in the park, cars speeding in Stanley Park, drug addicts on the beach and streets doing fentanyl, rampant car breaking ins, stabbing son buses and in the streets, hit and run accidents, police who have no sense of urgency and hate getting out of their cars, huge homeless tent encampments on the street bicycles blaring boom boxes on their bikes in the park, fires in Stanley Park.
