Fun fact: if you lose the zeke fight, the story objective memo will call him the evilest driver in alrest.

The reason why you have so much downtime during battles is that you don't use desserts. Use that pouchexpansion kit on Rex, put two desserts into his pouch and battles would become significantly smoother.

One of the best things of being an adult is that adults don't try to abuse you so easily. I remember, as a kid, I could see how adults were always on our throats. They just felt entitled to get into whatever we were doing or saying. Quite a few times some adult screamed at me for reasons that now as an adult myself, feel so stupid. Like, I would never run after a 7 year old kid, screaming, because the kid softly put a small toy car on my window shop. Or I would never scream and insult a kid for asking for a donation for some cause. Adult people rarely do those things to other adults, but kids are easy prey to unleash their frustrations. Watching that soldier pushing that kid... We forget so easily that's not anime behavior. That's pretty real stuff. It's so easy to be "brave" when your opponent is small, fragile and afraid.

Affinity is your link with the blade represented by that glowing thread between the two. It is kinda like tension in xbc1. The more it grows more benefits you have in combat. Base affinity is your initial affinity at the beginning of the battle. Some things you can do to raise affinity, stay close to your blade and do well in the button challenges, when you do, you will see the driver cheering for the blade during the special (only in specials that the blade attacks alone).

Zeke is cool, he grows on you. Or not. Whatever. I like the trope. It's like watching the team rocket, freaking love them :D

Each orb you break during a chain attack gives you extra turns, if you can break more than one orb in a turn that will also have boosted effects. If you can fill the gauge in the top left, you will be able to do a full burst which instantly breaks all the remaining orbs and deals massive damage. Overkilling an enemy during a chain attack also boosts the ability exp and loot you receive I believe.

I found it was usually more useful not to break more than 1 orb per turn because if you start the next round with a partially broken orb it's much easier to keep the chain going

just saw you warcraft video clicked on your main page to see if you had a part 2 out yet and see you playing 1 of my all time favourite games happy days :-)

Maybe I am wrong but I think that, when you rise your level in inns, you don't have to go level by level, you can choose the last level from the start. But I may be wrong, it's been many years.

Don't know if you noticed, but switching blades caused the blade you swapped in to have all arts filled. So it might be worth swapping blades when you've used all your arts with your current blade
