64 year old man here, I love growing up in the decades that I have, from watching outdated technology shows like this to everything in a handheld. Device, I continuously tell myself I’m living in the future, pairing my phone with my car my Bose speaker my iPad, on and on

Our future, as so the present, with the blink of an eye, is all of a sudden the past. Not crazy if given a small thought. Peace

We are ALL very lucky to be alive at such a time in human history
I used to watch this show in 1969 when I was 12 yrs old on my Mom n Dad's black n white Zenith TV in the corner of their bedroom from 10 pm to 11 pm just before my Dad watched the news n went to sleep so he could get up for work the next morning. They had another TV in the living room they watched until Johnny Carson came on after the News at 11 pm, Carson came on at 11:30 pm!!! The things you remember so clearly from youth are amazingly weird, so this is a total blast from the past, seeing what influenced me so very much as a teenager!! I could only remember the beginning music playing in the dark empty amusement park with no one there but the coasters were still rolling!!! That music was sooo cool n haunted my head for my entire life!!! I just lucked up on this opening music tonite for the first time since 1969, n WOW!!! I knew I remembered it from somewhere!!! Thanks for the memory jog!! I couldn't remember the name of the show n no one I ever met or knew could remember it either, until now,. That it was called "Journey To The Unknown"!!!! Awesome!!!
Love this wish it would be shown on TV ( the whole series) maybe talking pictures, who knows.🙂
One of the first scary TV series I watched. Simply loved it. The Intro still haunts me today.
When I first saw the intro in the '60's as a teener, the hair on the back of my neck stood up! Today at 70, why the hell, I'm still scared!
Great writing and acting,,,,one of my favorite episodes of this series
I simply loved and still do “ Journey to the Unknown “ and, subsequent two episodic movies that were released in the USA. At least one ( if not two episodes) were based upon stories by Charles Beaumont of “ Twilight Zone” original series fame as well as other notable authors and screenwriters. What can I say but thank you so much for this anthology. With “ Hammer “ one can’t go wrong 💝!!!! I also noticed some “ Hammer “ regulars in this series. So nice to revisit a most entertaining, competently written series as this. Again thank you so much. “ Hammer’s House of Horror “ is also on KZread… just FYI.
What a great show!! So glad I stumbled on this one.
The bloke who plays her husband's been in everything, Fawlty Towers etc. that's what I love about this show, you watch an episode and it's like 'oh he's out of such and such' great show, thanks for uploading, mate.

Allan Cuthbertson was born in Australia, believe it or not,in 1920.In the 60s he became a great foil for top comedians.
I LOVED this series and would have to beg my parents to let me watch it.
Wow! What a treat. Love this series and when I saw the opening credits, "Barbara Bel Geddes," my heart leaped. She is still as beautiful and talented today. I think.? Okay. I was surprised by the ending 😏❣️

Spooky theme tune and the opening filmed at the long closed Battersea Fun Fair I believe.
Thanks for posting this. Very entertaining!
I've never seen or heard of this series that only lasted a year, producing 17 episodes (of which this actually is #7, se bottom). I guess the competition was too tough when it comes to horror/fantasy/sci-fi TV series in the late 60s. But I'm going to watch them all if they're here for various reasons. One being this is an American-British co-production between Hammer Films and Fox TV (distr. by ABC in USA and ITV in UK). It was also produced by Anthony Hinds, not only the son of William Hinds (stage name Will Hammer, co-founder of Hammer Productions), but also co-founder of Hammer Films, and the one who ran Hammer during its heyday with Michael Carreras (also a director). Also, I recognize (and appreciate) several of the directors that made some of Hammer's most famous movies, like Peter Sasdy, Roy Ward Baker and Alan Gibson. And the actors are a mix of veterans (Joseph Cotten, Vera Miles, Roddy McDowall, Michael Gough, George Maharis...) and young, up-and-coming actresses like Stefanie Powers, Tracy Reed, Patty Duke and Carol Lynley. And some of the stories/teleplays came from Americans Richard Matheson, Robert Bloch and an uncredited Ray Bradbury. Looking forward to these! //J, Sweden www.imdb.com/title/tt0617049
Thanks. I am enjoying watching these.

The opening shot of the train track and building is of the Stonebridge Park sidings and newly built Wembley Point, at the junction of the A404 and A406. Futuristic design for the time..

Dave Nix You never saw Vertigo? Check it out! One of Hitchcock's best. Bel Geddes does some of her subtlest acting in that film.
Wonderful. Disturbing climax.
Creepy 😂 very good one!
Excellent .
Veddy, veddy British. Early utilization of data to human voice transcription, and very early example of thinking copmputers, i.e. AI Artifical Intelligence. So, this episode being written and produced in the late 1960s was way, way ahead of its time.
Anticipated AI way back when. And only a few employees needed, even for nighttime security. People act shocked that many jobs will soon be redundant. I've known since the 80s. Everyone over 50 should have known. Check out the Jettisons and tech forward ads from the 50s.

Yes. The engineers and propagandists telling us that everything will be ok are not to be listened to. What we are going to have is massive unemployment.
Very nicely done. Hope I’m not giving anything away but not too far from the end, I won’t give the precise time so that it won’t reveal the murderer to those like myself read first and watch second, I realized who done it.😊
Muchas Gracias! Saludos desde Argentina!
I really liked this one; so well-written and performed. The "twist" at the end can be seen from space, and that was probably true in 1969 as well, but I loved that no character in this story was an oblivious ninny.

You might say that this was a more serious version of a story told on The Twilight Zone called "From Agnes, With Love". 🤖
One of many British suspense TV series that was around in the 60's through the 80's.
Haven't seen this since its original run - certainly remember the creepy opening
This series is long overdue for a legit release. I have the unauthorized version but I would definitely spring for the real thing.
