Journey to the Spiritual Core: World Energy Center in Mongolian Gobi | Nargie's Mongolian Adventure

Ойын-сауық

Khamaryn Khiid (Khamar Monastery), along with it surrounding mountains, is known as the World Energy Center.
The Monastery was founded in 1820 by Danzanravjaa (1803-1856), a writer, architect, composer, poet, painter, and physician. Belonging to the order of Red Hat Buddhism, he founded the Khamaryn Khiid Monastery when he was 17 years old, basing its location on his observation of the area's spiritual energy.
Danzanravjaa fought against rigid class and gender distinctions, and was an outspoken critic of his contemporaneous society. The Khamar Monastery played an important role as a monastic, cultural, and education center in Mongolia’s Gobi Desert region until its destruction in 1937. It was rebuilt in 1990.
Today, it is located in Khatanbulag district, Dornogovi Province, approximately 47 km (29.2 miles) south of the provincial capital Sainshand. At its height, the monastery reportedly accommodated over 80 temples and some 500 monks.

What a beautiful video. I grow up in Dornogovi, Sainshand. Childhood memories hold a special place in our hearts, weaving a tapestry of experiences that shape our identity. One such cherished memory for me revolves around the energy center of Khamriin Khiid.

Actually old Mongolians say, there's many hellish places there with many folk tales such as the infamous deaths of casts of movie named "Mirage of the Gobi" after encountering ghost in the Gobi. It said, that when the cast finished shooting and went to one of the ger (stranger's yurt), the lady of the household boiled tea in front of their eyes and gave them but it was so cold. After their freak incident, many of the cast members died young.

Not that it’s wrong to believe in god. They’re actually talking more about spirituality and the energy of the place rather than god or religion.
