labobo - Consider how much money it costs and what Seeker probably has to work with. 4K VR has not yet reached mature commercial release and the camera equipment is prohibitively expensive. Even if it were affordable to use a few DSLRs as throwaways, you can't strap a bundle to a balloon due to their weight. That said, even 4k video stretched 360 degrees won't be nearly the resolution of a standard 4k 2d screen.

It would start spinning extremely fast, and at weird angles so you couldn’t stabilize it.

I cried while watching this in my Oculus Quest 2. Just the feeling of being up close to space and looking at the sun. Incredible. Thank you Seeker VR

Same ❤️ Im using Google cardboard rn just to get out of my depressing house in a way - the only time I've gone anywhere in the last 8 months was an urgent care appointment when i was really really sick. I tried the thing before and thought it was trash years ago - and wish i hadnt. Could have been using it all this time. Just wish i could afford real VR... There isnt enough stuff (i know about) for cardboard really.

I got a little emotional here.I knew earth was beautiful but I never could really comprehend it since I've never seen how earth truly is like.

I would honestly pay for the VR experience of this video - but the entire trip, not the edited short version. One with this beautiful music, that I could just use when I am feeling stressed. That's exactly what I was thinking when I was watching this. That ending was so nice... Looking up... Idk. All of it was, really, and it felt like it needed to be longer.

Why is there mediterrain, and tropic and where the temperature drops down -20? Why is there summer and winter? Maybe its because it depends on how close we to the sun? If the Eart flat, then every point of the surfice must be the same distance and the world's temperature must be everywhere exactly the same, and no weathers. If everything is so localized why the weather changes, and some areas the weather never changes? ( Like in the amazonas never snowing, and the antartica is a cold ice land) because if their distance from the sun, dont you think? And if the sun goes in circle, then should get close to the point where ice melts, and should get far away from the point where it never snows = that means it should snowing. But its not. This is what the internet is capable of - delivering wonder & beauty to people around the world. To expose the glorious efforts of scientists & artists everywhere. This video was a joy and a treasure. I'm excited for the future. EDIT: I'm sure this comment will get plenty of snarky replies detailing why the world is actually terrible, complete with omnipresent biases & counter-arguments - but for as long as my comment is here, I hope there are people out there who still allow wonder and beauty to touch their souls & imaginations.

it really is amazing how everything was just right,how a comet hasn't hit us by now,how we haven't blown ourselves up yet,how we somehow have managed to stay alive after all these years while not (completely we obviously have destroyed the earth the a bit too much) completely destroying our planet. we may have come far but theres still MUCH more to come. In my opinion I don't think we'll ever have EVERYONE for world peace but if we dont try we'll never even get close dude so lets try and help our own little bit to make the world a better place! ty for listening if you read this all! :)
