Ойын-сауық
In part 1 of Journey into Frank Dux (Destroy), I summarize months worth of work and videos in order to bring the audience up to speed into how I met Frank Dux and then interviewed him.
This video features kickboxing legend Don "The Dragon" Wilson, writer/director Sheldon Lettich, stuntman Steven Lambert and martial arts promoter Sifu Alan Goldberg.
In part 2 of Journey into Frank Dux (Defend), I summarize months worth of work and videos with Sky Benson and Adam McKinley in order to bring the audience up to speed with positive videos related to Frank Dux. We solve the whole Senzo Tanaka debate once and for all and discuss the missing Kumite footage!

I love that Viking Samurai works so hard to build context and get to the truth behind the emotion. This isn't just my favorite martial channel on KZread its my favorite channel ever and that's saying alot seeing as how much I loved Inside MMA with Bas Rutten and Kenny Rice.
Respect to you, Viking Samurai, for approaching the subject matter without bias and giving fair consideration to all sides. There is simply NOT ENOUGH of this fairness in journalism and modern media.
Videos like this are one of the reasons Viking Samurai is one of the best channels on KZread. And between Don “The Dragon” Wilson and Frank Dux, I’ve only ever seen proof of one of their fighting abilities. Don “The Dragon” Wilson vs. Dennis Alexio one of the best fight’s ever. And one of Alexio’s few losses.
This is why I like this platform . People getting to express they're life experiences in the martial art community. And it's thank s to Mr Viking Samurai.
Bloodsport is one of my favorite martial arts movies but Frank Dux claims of having a 1000 fights sounds impossible, I really don't care if he did or didn't have a 1000 fights, love your channel ❤️🔥💪
I swear, the best channel on KZread!!! Frank Dux is the most controversial martial artist of all time by far. Frank should be the spokesman for Dos Equis as the most interesting man in America. Never a dull moment with this guy.

Get him back on here lol. This stuff is entertaining no matter how it goes. I think we are all up for hearing from everyone you had on these videos too.
This is a super criminally underrated channel. I really enjoy listening to these kinds of conversations as they have good context an VS seems to fairly lay out both sides so we as the audience can form r own opinions I also stupidly watched these outta order
Great interviews and more than enough stories to keep us intrigued.
The music and soundtrack to Bloodsport was top notch. That's something that doesn't get talked about enough. As well as all the 80s action movies, the compositions and song choices just rocked!
Dux is so full of it, but I am thoroughly entertained by his stories! lol

Honestly, the Frank Dux files are hilarious. These 2 guys have totally different memories of the lunch.
I like the pro Dux and pro Seagal content. No matter what side of the fence you’re on, it’s no secret that the side that stands against these two has a louder voice these days, and it is amazing to find a neutral platform where both sides get to share their grievances, debate, and essentially gives equal voice to both sides. While I think that both men have been dishonest, probably on the advice of publicists, allowing the side that supports and defends them to have equal voice, helps the undecided you’re both sides equally. Personally, I hear both sides and believe that the truth is somewhere in the middle, and despite how their history’s have been embellished, believe both meant to be phenomenal, martial artists.
Dux, Dux, Dux… this channel has definitely given him a chance. You’ve given him more than others have given him.
Great stuff! I saw all your earlier videos but this is great fun, so keep 'em comin' :)
Great video as always, you should try and get some more of the actors from bloodsport on the Chanel to talk about there experience of dux and making the film
These videos you're making are truly special, informative and original, and should go into the historical archives. Where else can anyone find this kind of content? They should actually go into the special features of the relevant DVDs and Blu-rays.
I clicked so fast when I saw this! Amazing work
The Saturday night fever music had me dieing 😆
I've been waiting for this! Thanks VS
Keep in mind that Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Lionheart etc... was aimed for the vast audience to enjoy and not every person is into the more technical fighting but there are plenty of movies that have more technical fighting but it all depends on the kind of audience the movie is trying to appeal to. If you want more technical fighting that's easy just watch the Matrix and John Wick movies.
More Frank Dux nice 👍💪
When will the James Lew interview be posted. Also hope you get to interview Dolph Lundgren. He played hero and villain to so many action movie stars.
One interesting thing I noticed is that no one is able to collaborate on what he said perfectly. There seems to be enough gaps in details that he (Ducks) is able to cast a reasonable doubt whenever he is brought on to the show to re-iterate. Like the whole thing with being able to dodge bullets. Don's version definitely seems ludicrous enough but then when Ducks says it, it sorta makes more sense? Got to wonder if people are purposefully misconstruing his words or simply not paying attention the moment he starts talking about something seemingly impossible. Even the two fellows that were at the lunch meet cannot seem to collaborate on the story and both of them were sitting at the same table, right next to Frank?! It would be great to learn what Frank's side of the story is. Maybe he doesn't word things properly the first time around? I mean the guy did have brain cancer... Also can you ask Ducks if he collaborated on the popular game called Duck Hunt on the NES? Is it also based on his real life expereince like Blood Sport? Also ask him about the time where he single handedly stopped WW3 by disarming a bomb by simply staring it down with his chi Chuck Norris style (complete fabrication on my part btw). (Frank)ly, the controversy surrounding Ducks has been very entertaining. Much more so than Seagal's case which is quite dark and serious. PS: Sorry for the puns but I just can't help it. Please don't use your secret Kumite skills via Wifi on me, Mr. Dux. Bonus question: Which piece of his mind did Lambert give to Frank? Was it the part that allows his creative impulses?
Last thing u should try and get donald Gibb to talk about, bloodsport. U had him on briefly
Well played for doing this , I really am following with interest
Very intresting interview. Frank dux life is certainly full of controversy. I don't how he deals with all the drama ha ha. Alot of claims about the kumite. And the secret man etc. Its certainly alot of stuff to prove you did. But it's all very fascinating. I like Frank dux. But he obviously has alot of people who don't. Unreal ha ha. Why was Dux wearing an eye patch when he appeared on that talk show? Never seen him with it before or since, so was it part of a suggestive image he was trying to present or something more simple like a case of pink eye?!
i would love to see van damme and dux together on your platform settling out there differences asking thm about the roof top fight etc lol
Part two part two part two
As much as people speculate how truthful Frank's BS really is, I will say that it's even harder to verify when half the people that have a problem with him, or say that he's lying, can't even get their own story straight. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but if you look at this objectively, this could also be why some of Frank's stories get twisted. I'm not saying he hasn't tried to pull the wool over anyone's eyes, but to what extent that people make it out to be, well I don't know. Because from what I'm understand Frank really did help write and put together that film. Because it was an idea he had put together with Jean-Claude van damme, if I remember correctly. That was the film they had the falling out over.
I love how objective you are....this is on point....I accept the Frank Dux BS....I embrace it because it gave us the magic of Blood Sport....it's entertaining....let it be
Yes! Looking forward to it brotha. This was awesome
Funny how the actor 's life (van Damme) is more close to the film 's character life than the supposed person who the actor portrayed in the film

Other way around. He created the concept of the telephone before he was unceremoniously ripped off by Alexander Bell. He was also ripped off by both Tesla and Edison after discovering AC/DC both the current and the music band with the same name.
Alon Newman is very poised and was sitting right next to Frank. The other guy keeps trying to interrupt him and says he was upset about the writing credits? Not sure I totally believe Mr Kaufman’s account.
I think you do a very fair job when it comes to letting people getting their sides of the story across ...I think I've said on here before when it comes to dux , weather or not he's telling the truth (and I think it's safe to say he's talking crap) look what the martial arts world got from it a new major movie star in van damme and arguably the best martial arts movie ever ...
@Viking Samurai please ask frank any chance of a,uncut version of,bloodsport? All the stuff van damme edited out.but,I doubt Frank has control of that.
Did Frank Dux ever explain whether or not these underground Kumite tournaments are still being held? That seems like a nagging question that I've never heard him answer.
It will be great to have Master Frank as a regular guest. He should be allowed to defend his position when “the boys” start locker room drama talking about him. “The boys” are trying to get their stories all together to make another film without him but it all backfired on them. The fans want Master Frank! You can tell from reading other peoples books, that they did NOT have his creative capacity to write. Dude Lambert got his panties in a bind over Master Frank claiming he did work on the script of the “The Quest”, NOT, stunt coordinator. 😮. The posse against Dux is constantly pissing on our feet, and telling us it’s a rainstorm. Give Master Frank the ability to respond. 🇺🇸🙌🏻
Much respect for Mr. Lambert but Frank Dux is credited in the Quest he's in the credits....why????
I just realized or learned idk that all of our action heroe actors took steroids or ped’s from Bruce Lee to anyone who’s on your Mount Rushmore except maybe Steven Seagul. And they looked amazing!
You did a great job, far from "Kool Aid". Part of being a top interviewer is playing along and giving the interviewee enough room to either hang or save themselves without adding too much exposition
@Viking Samurai off topic.van damme and dolph did a universal soilder q and a on KZread, check it out

I wrestled in college. If you wrestled a tournament and had 7 matches over 2 days you were exhausted. 7 minutes a match. Frank Dux fought 20 fights, 3 days in a row? He is either a super hero or full of shit. Lol. Love your content!!

And If we read Frank Dux telling about the Kumite...its even more bullshit. The ring was something around 5x5 And in the semifinals all fought in a roof with old ceramic tiles (he told in the Black belt magazine). He told that the early editions from Kumite, they used to fought in the mud, something like a swamp ring. The guy is nuts.

That’s not true the most matches I wrestled in one day was probably seven and I won all of them. My last two matches were back to back. I’d beat one dude and I had to wrestle his friend from my last match and they were like well are you ready? I was like not really, but let’s go. But I was like 11 years old at the time. When you were a great wrestler, doesn’t matter how many wrestling matches you have to wrestle you’ll beat everyone. They have to go through the same thing. They’re just not as good.
Lets go Dojo Raidin!
Excellent Jcvd best dux ever
So Frank goes from being down in the trenches, to saving Steven Seagal's life, then secret Kumite fighting, and now a technique or a former technique that zapped all his Chi and left him Chiless. Something doesn't add up.
The framerate of your YT-videos makes your movements seem lagged. Please adjust. What do they recommend? 24fps?
Didn't recently he said that his kumite trophy was a gag huh I wonder what's this is leading to always want to know what the end game is but it is what it is right
Frank Duc is the Billy Mitchell of the martial arts world.
This is off topic but would you consider doing an episode or maybe and interview with Cynthia Rothrock? She appeared on Scott Adkins' podcast and had an interesting career such as the sequel to no retreat no surrender which is a jcvd franchise....kind of....I'd just like to hear what you think of her....she has more black belts than Michael Jai White and she made a movie with Bolo Yeung....just throwing up an idea....
