The lead singer is very talented He nails every song he does. Hopefully he doesn't leave the band he would be hard to replace.

The band didn't just nail this. They piled it. Awesome performance. Would have loved to have been there for this show but hey oh not too long to go till January 27th next year. The current line up just keeps getting better and better and props to Tim and Wayne who are always as tight as the proverbial ducks a--- in the engine room that drives this phenominal band.

I saw Arnel Pineda and Journey sing this truly American Classic live in September 2008, and it was awesome! I never get tired of listening to it, and this version by The Classic Rock Show is excellent. Easily get pumped up!

For some yes and for some no. I have a friend that does parodies of popular songs from the 50's to the early 2000's and his band has written and recorded 5 parodies to Journey songs with Don't Stop Believin' being one of them, he says that they won't do their parodies of Journey live because it's very hard for him to imitate Steve Perry's voice. He said his vocal chords have to be in perfect condition. Now, there's several Journey tribute bands out there, I've only seen one called Separate Ways the Band and their singer sounds exactly like Steve Perry. The others I'd imagine sound exactly or at least close.

Journey should hire them. I hate my countryman Arnel Pineda being bashed all the time only by keeping the music alive. He's not even trying to replace SP. He adores SP.

Arnel sounds better than this guy. Yes he it the notes or most them, but I didn't care for his tone. Or the harmony for that matter. When they broke the song down and it just had drums, I could hear every voice and even if they were on key, they still sounded odd to me.
