That method of stapling is so useful, I use it sometimes for mini notebooks to put into a junk journal, just for variation, because usually I do the pamphlet stitch. This journal folder is gorgeous!

Also paper/cardstock/chipboard flexes differently in horizontal than vertical. If you were making a guitar from thin sheets of wood, for instance, you would turn each layer the other direction from the one under it to stop warping and give it more strength. You can check it before you cut your covers and decide which way you want it to flex a bit, i usually have the largest flex go top to bottom, but thats just me =)

What size paper are you using to print your designs onto? I’ve been printing them on 65lbs cardstock but it seems it may be way thicker than what you are using. 🤔

In the US we call the regular paper ‘copy or printer’ paper. If that helps… ❤
