Following 😊 My dear, your kids sound awesome. Playing, helping you out…just being kiddos ❤ They weren’t loud or bothersome at all but I’m a mama so I get it 👍🏻 I actually love to hear the laughter and bantering that they do 😅 I’m living and impressed with this little book. I’ll be back with supplies in hand to make one with you 👍🏻💕 Have a wonderful day.
I love how you attached the extra to make less paper waste. Genius.
Oh my goodness!! Truly amazing. And your voice is lovely. It was pure delight watching the entire video!! TYFS
Thank you so much Caroline! I found your video as I am starting to make folios. I made a small one for my nephew and his wife for some of their Norway photos and am excited to try and make yours. I am now a subscriber.
Awesome Job!!! I just ordered myself a corner mitering tool!!! So excited, can't wait to get it.
You are the real MVP! I have throughly enjoyed your tutorial. You are the only person I've seen that uses wet glue to assemble your work. I use wet glue and I love it but so many creators make wet glue seem like it's wrong to use it for assembly. The fact that you wiped the glue off with your finger.....made me subscribe lol 😆 you are a REAL ONE! Very detailed and not to wordy just to the point. And you shared a way to make a beautiful album without having to buy the entire collection and still have a beautiful handmade work of art. Thank you so much. I love making albums but I don't have a lot of money so I work with what I habe and you've shown that it's possible to do.

I'm at least a whole year late :) it's 6.29 am here in the uk, Saturday and I still haven't had any sleep. The adult part of me is sayon "no don't watch it & try again to sleep" the child in me is saying "go on, watch it 😀 I got just over 2.5 hours Thursday night going into friday, but it's normal for me. I've made my decision, meds & try to sleep... Added to my 'craft watch later folder. Have a great day:)
I truly love love this, you have inspired me to make albums again, thank you for the tutorials
This was a great tutorial. I love making albums and have made many of the elements you shared in albums I have made. Your walkthrough of the pop up technique is the best ever! Thanks for sharing! It makes the process so much easier and I love the rounded corners and the tip about snipping the point off before adding to the page to remove the bulk. I also am anxious to try the gusseted spine on my next album!
What a great tutorial- I will definitely be following your channel and blog.‼️😊
Great tutorial; you do a fantastic job of explaining the process, very clear.
Absolutely love this project! You have made the Twist-n-pop so easy for me!! Your a great teacher💜
I thoroughly enjoyed the tutorial AND the album design. It was fun to follow along and make my own. A lot of stopping and rewinding the video trying to keep up, but lots of fun and great instruction. Loved it all!!!!
Thank you so much for this beautiful video…really loved making this album…such wonderful clear instructions, cutting guide and such pretty albums for inspiration 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗

Hi, Cindy! The Carnival retreat was soooo fun! I’m sorry we missed each other, but it’s understandable considering how many of us there were, lol! I’m thrilled to meet you now, and have happily subscribed to your channel, too, and looking forward to watching your videos. I love sharing with and learning from crafty friends. 🥰 Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. ((hugs)) 🌸✨🌸✨🌸
Wet glue also stiffens the paper, which I like. I don't always have 110lb paper so the wet glue (or glue stick in conjunction with the wet glue) stiffens my paper and makes it more durable.

Hi Caroline. I just watched your spring mini album tutorial and it was awesome but I just want to thank you for the tip about putting magnets on opposite pages so they don’t catch I’m actually doing an album right now and I did two waterfalls on opposite pages and didn’t think about it and it is catching the other magnet on the other page. So it’s to late now to fix it, but for future it’s good to know how I can fix it. So thank you again for that tip.

Hi, Linda! 😄 yes….I’ve done that exact same thing…In fact, it took me a quite a few tries before I figure out that if I flipped the polarity it would stop catching, 🤦🏻♀️🙄🤣lol! I’m so glad you found it helpful, too. I hope you are having a fantastic Saturday. Thanks, again, Linda. 🥰

Hello. I found your channel while browsing KZread. I loved it so much that I already made 4 mini albums of 7X7" to keep in reserve for when I need it.Thanks for the tip.Now I was pointing out the measurements to make this mini-album, but I noticed that the hinge measurement was wrong. Because if the pages are the same size as the hinge, and they are 4"1/2, the hinge cannot be 4" and 1/4. Because it says that the pages are the same measure as the hinge. I'm going to make both 4" 1/2. Sorry about the repair, I hope you don't take this the wrong way?!.😬😊 Thanks for the excellent work.Greetings from Portugal

Definitely making some of these for my Christmas craft fair! I might have missed it with my kids in the room as I was watching this video, but what weight cardstock are you using for the cover and the pages?
@CraftingCreatingWithCaroline
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Kim! These would make great craft fair albums! I used the 85lb Artisan Cardstock from CCC www.countrycraftcreations.com/collections/artisan-cardstock but have use several others as well. I’m currently using the 65lb Recollections 8 1/2 x 11 shimmer cardstock from Michael’s and it’s working great, too. www.michaels.com/gold-shimmer-8.5x11-cardstock-paper-by-recollections/10624380.html It’s just a matter of personal preference. 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks, again! Hope you’re having a great evening. ✨🌻✨ ((hugs))

Hi, Pat! Thanks so much for watching. The spacers are available at Country Craft Creations. Here’s a link: www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/country-craft-creations-album-spacers-set-of-3 I used some spacers I made out of chipboard for nearly two years before purchasing them from CCC, and I wish I had done so sooner. Hello!! Just found your channel!! Thank you so much for this tutorial, appreciate your share. I’ve been wanting to make a journal like this for so long. Do you have other sizes of journals! One question tho on the hinge fold - so it doesn’t matter if you fold from the top or the bottom side? I know that sounds silly, just curious. Thanks so much!!

Hi, Debbie! Welcome! It’s so nice to meet you. I do have other tutorials on my channel as well as corresponding cutting guides on my website craftingandcreatingwithcaroline.com/ I love having crafty conversations! OH you are Country Crafts! 🤦🏻♀️ I just placed a couple of orders!! Please just disregard my silly question - once I start making a journal I’ll know what I mean. Lol!! Thank you again!! 🙂
@CraftingCreatingWithCaroline
2 жыл бұрын
@@debbiebrewington7635 Oh! I’m assuming you mean when I folded the score lines on the hinge from both the top and bottom of the scored side? Yes, it is preferable to fold away from the scores side for two reasons. One is if there are concerns the paper may crack, but when using high quality cardstock, I’ve found it really doesn’t matter. I use Artisan cardstock from country craft creations and haven’t had any issues with cracking. If you are in the US, you can order it here: www.countrycraftcreations.com/collections/artisan-cardstock If you are ourtside if the US, any high quality linen cardstock should work nicely. The other reason one may want to fold away from the scored side is for consistency and accuracy of the fold. I don’t have those concerns either because I set my hinge height the same size as my gussets. This allows me to ensure that my hinges remain straight and parallel to each other by nestling them into the spaces of the gussets. I hope that makes sense??? If not, I’m happy to take a shot at clarifying, lol! Thanks, again. I really appreciate your question.
