In today's video I have a Christmas 6.75" x 8" Mini Album Tutorial for you all! This is a super cute mini album that comes together fairly quickly. I do make a chipboard base for this album and use 65lb weight cardstock for the rest. This time I used a paper collection called A Perfect Christmas by Echo Park Paper. So I hope you enjoy this tutorial for this mini album for January 2023 of the #scrappychristmaskrafts series.

Awesome! TFS! I'll be watching that hinge section 17 times lol This is just lovely, love everything about it! I am going to try and make an "our girls' album for our daughter and son in law for Christmas--that should give me plenty of time to figure out that hinge :) Thank you so much!

Very secure and no fear of it coming off the spine when you leave the inch on either side! Thank you ! I have some more where I wrote down measurements but have to make the album to make sure all the measurements work lol

I finished my album. I forgot 2 magnets, and o needed to use Fall papers as my Christmas paper is blocked by some boxes until I can clean it out. I think it came out pretty good for someone learning. I did mix up and put page 2 on first, which really frustrated me, but they are at least all facing the correct direction (nothing upside down or backwards). @@Michelef4 that’s okay ! You can use any papers with any of my album designs and you can switch up the order of the pages too ! I’ll be doing maybe a wedding one or baby theme next with this style album ! I’m sure yours looks fantastic ! And you finished so that’s amazing!

Love the stitching! Do you use a regular sewing machine to do it? Any tips, not much of a sewer but I do have a machine.

I love this album. I would like to try to make one. I down loaded the cutting guide and thank you for that but it didnt tell me what weight paper you use for what. Could you please tell me what weight paper do you use for the cover, hinges, and pages? Thank you

I use 65lb on everything unless otherwise specified. You can use 110lb cardstock if you prefer for the pages and hinge

Well if you have an excess amount of paper like I do, it’s a great project! Lol It took me all day ! It was one whole day to design and paper matte the album. And then half the next day to do a tutorial, cutting guide, photos for Etsy and all that stuff.

@@amyrisinger4677 I don’t sorry, I was decorating the album as I was designing it trying to use up all the paper. If I could find some time I can try to do a paper matting video with the base I made in this one
