Rumpali näyttää pelottavan paljon Chester Benningtonilta

Eiköhän siellä keikalla se koko levy jotakuinkin tule, mutta odotan mielenkiinnolla mitä lisää sinne tulee väliin. Jokaisella on kuitenkin aiemmat bändit joilta niitä biisejä voi lainata, eli tuleeko sieltä Northeria, Bodomia, Mygrainia, Naildownia... ? Naildownin biisit tuntuisi loogiselta, kun kyseessä on melkein sama bändi uusissa kuorissa.

Yep, some Naildown songs live would be great! MyGrain is still an active band, so I don't think there's a reason to play their stuff and COB is also out of the question in my opinion. But a real treat for the fans would be playing 'Paint The Sky With Blood' - to me it feels like Daniel's Crownshift is the only band left who shall play it, if any.

​@@CrusTeek I don't know, I feel Paint the Sky With Blood is a bit... maybe not heavier, but more KVLT (don't know of a more suitable word for what I'm talking about) than Crownshift. I also don't really see Tommy singing Alexi's parts in those songs TBH. He's more versatile for sure, but I feel like his screaming kinda lacks that evil/nasty black metal kind of sound, if you know what I mean. It would be awesome but it doesn't really fit IMO. Certain CoB songs on the other hand might fit, and CoB songs always get the crowd going, so I wouldn't be surprised if something like Hate Me! made into the set. But yeah, maybe some Naildown and/or Norther songs seem most likely since basically all the guys were in those bands.

@@Pauligrinder Yeah, I got your point. The whole Bodom After Midnight EP had more darker 90s black metal vibe then COB had for the last 20 years of their career, especially when fueled with Dissection cover. I can agree that songs like Hate Me! would maybe fit better in Crownshift setlist - but the problem I have with it is that most COB classics heavily rely on distinctive keyboard parts which would feel weird to me when just played from backing track (think Downfall for example). And what's even more important - I think they should play only tracks which they had some creative input in. I'm more than happy when Janne plays some COB classics with Warmen, but Daniel recorded only one album with COB and if he wrote any parts, I can't tell which one to be honest. But his killer solos and licks in Paint The Sky With Blood is just trademark Daniel Freyberg, instantly recognizable to me. So if Crownshift would play songs like In Your Face, it would probably get the crowd engaged, but it would feel like a cheap trick to me :)

@@CrusTeek Agreed. I didn't even consider the keyboard aspect, but you're right, it would seem weird to have those played from backing tracks. I wish they'd get a keyboard player tbh.
