I cannot help but feel that Daniel is continuing the legacy of what he did on Bodom After Midnight. I would imagine that Alexi would want him to continue making epic music. Absolutely love this band and this is absolutely scorching stuff! And I love that Daniel rocks and ESP Original Series Arrow in Black Andromeda. I have that every same guitar.

Extremely glad Daniel has continued the legacy of the best Finnish melodic death metal even after bodom after midnight and Alexi's passing (RIP) An extremely nice guy to meet in person and i wish nothing but the best for him and his health to deliver our niche melodic death metal poison!

Sounds excellent! Like a mix of Soilwork, In Flames, and CoB. Production quality is way up there!

This is the hand I didn't know I needed.

First time hearing Crownshift. It's good and different. Nice harmonies and vocals.

I dig it! Sounds like Stabbing the Drama era Soilwork

I can feel a bit of Children of Bodom. And this is AWESOME!

@@Malkkavian This is basically Naildown coming back with their last lineup, but with a different singer. This song (and I guess the whole album actually) were supposed to be on the 3rd Naildown record. For example the drums you hear on this video were recorded exactly 12 years ago :)

Welp, Im sold. Its like CoB meets Killswitch.

I dig it a lot and I'm glad it was worth the hype and waiting. Great songwriting, some creative drumming (I love the cymbal chokes at 03:31!) and of course Daniel's trademark melodic guitar licks. And Tommy's vocals fit very well, I'm glad it's not another COB clone with black metal vocals and folk metal melodies, but instead they went for this Strapping Young Lad/Mnemic vibe. This band stands out, very promising!

There are elements of all 4 bands plus some Townsend vibes. But alexi will remain one of the most talented metal heads to live. Cant wait to hear the rest they brought us. I'm hoping for a killer cob tribute song.

@@npinjest7779 the vocals are heavily influenced by Devin, like the part where he sings "Kill me if you CARE" (03:00) and again in a different way, more screamed (03:43) and some other high-pitched screams, it reminds me of vocals in SYL 'City'.
