Real's only issue is consistency which i doubt they will pas through because their current coach Ancelotti is a proven failure when it comes to winning against possesion-based teams, he lost 3 straight clasicos against the worst Barca squad in history, lost almost every clasico in his 1 stint (2013-2015) against Barca, has lost or draw in almost every match against Atletico across 2 stints. In terms of quality a combinet XI of both teams would be pretty balanced between both.

In my opinion, Bellingham was mostly pressing is this game and he did get into goal-scoring positions at the early stages of the game. Haaland was barely controlling the ball and he barely pressed. For sure, Bellingham can do better, but he contributed to the game. Haaland was nowhere to be seen. Rüdiger absolutely pocketed him.

Bellingham had 48 touches, Modrid had 31 but yeah, Modric in those 17 mins probably had more impact as if he was the one that started and Jude came off the bench, Bellingham seemed like he was just constantly upset the whole game rather than keeping his head down and getting on with it, how much time does he need to understand that the ref is going to let the game go and be strict with breaks in play due to fouls, it was obvious after the first 10 mins itself

well, they werent top class when we bought them were they? everyone labelled stones a bad signing at start, akke was at west brom(i think) when we got him, dias was 3rd on the priority in that transfer market behind koulibaly and 1 other, akanji was an average player at dortmund only gvardiol came with a reputation due to a good season and the world cup and he is really young hence the high price tag its just that we have a good scouting team and an excellent coach, having 5 cbs is normal for any team

How do you expect a player to be motivated and keep consistency when he's robbed in plain daylight ? Scored more goals than matches played in against tough opponents in the hardest league in the world, lost the biggest individual prize to someone who played 4 good matches in a 4 week long tournament 1.5 years prior. We would have seen much more consistency from the likes of Van Dijk, Lewandowski, Haaland even Vinicius, had they not been robbed by favoritism. Vinicius in 2022 did everything even scored the single goal in the UCL final, assisted created most of the chances during the whole champions league knockouts, he was nowhere near the podium, yet we have players like Messi scoring 6 goals in a year and win it.
