After more than two years of waiting, bitter rivals Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall will finally meet in a hugely anticipated rematch at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Saturday April 27, shown live on DAZN in the UK and around the world and exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S.
The enemies have been embroiled in a heated war of words since February 2022 when they met on an unforgettable night at The OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow for Taylor’s Undisputed Super-Lightweight World Title.
Intense debate has raged in the aftermath of their first fight, when Scotland’s Taylor (19-1, 13 KOs) protected his unbeaten record with a hugely controversial split decision points win to retain his then-Undisputed Super-Lightweight crown.

Josh Taylor looks worn and tore now, but the thing is he is an undisputed champion he can fight. Feel like a lot of people are going on the first fight. However I do favour jack catterall by TKO😂 josh to win wouldn’t be surprising just if he gets himself in that mind state again

Josh has a point to prove , fight ain't going 12 rounds . Your the first sensible comment I've read on here - the guys undisputed , he's had a loss against Lopez - the guy who beat lomachenko , that's something jack won't experience . I agree Josh looks unhealthy , the weights doing him zero favours but he wanted no excuses for jack to be able to say he dodged him or it wasn't at jack's weight . Jack's style doesn't work for josh , that's the only thing I can see going for josh . He didn't want the first fight , he was struggling with the weight . That mistake isn't being made this time . 🏴✌️

@@STSauto yeah he can definitely fight and like I said alot are looking at that first fight. Josh obviously wasn’t in shape and mind wasn’t right but you have to give the credit to Jack , I don’t know if josh has it in him right now I think he lived that life outside boxing too much and his prime has been seriously affected. I think the weight is an issue but I think he didn’t change it because then it would look like he is struggling; his pride hurts more than the task of winning. I think catteral stops him and josh will be on his knees, but if it does go to points it will be similar to last fight, josh will be sharper though. Could see a close fight either way if it’s points.

I struggled to spell Lomas name , and went for Lopez cos Teo confused me 😂😂 I don't see kamboso beating Taylor and I couldn't see Taylor beating Loma . One thing I can gaurentee , Jack ain't ever going to have to worry about that level . Mate it's all about opinions 🏴✌️

Jack looks nervous in my opinion.
Why do they keep saying Jack performed badly in the first fight. He arguably won, he did win imo as a massive underdog. I dont think you can call that a bad performance.

Jack in essence tried to cheat the whole fight, by turning putting the shoulder in and holding, he had point deducted and many warnings,he was unable to actually box josh this is why people say it was a poor performance, and it was a poor fight ,I've seen people disqualified for less than what they done with the holding and carrying on Most judges hold the view that to beat a champ you have to beat the champ you can't beat a champ by holding and spoiling,the fact that that was Jack's game plan when he got a shot at the belts would suggest he had no other way to win josh also never adjusted his game plan to counter Jack's tactics so it was a sloppy fight

Josh looks a bit drawn for me, I hope making 140 has not weakened him. Jack looks very fresh faced and hydrated. I still think the best Josh will beat the best Jack but does JT have rhe eye of the tiger now he's made the big bucks? Jack is still climbing! It's not an easy pick! I felt JTs legs may be gone in the Teo fight. Can't wait for it!

Catterall is not on Josh’s level and Hel show it this time, clearly over looked him the last time. Jack couldn’t get an over the hill Linares out of there early, what chance does he have of stopping Josh? Also Josh was dead on the scales the last time, was clear by how drawn in his face was at the weigh in. TTT cleans him out in good fashion this time and I can’t wait to watch it 🥊👌🏼🏴

Can see this being a real stinker. Jack is excellent at spoiling a fight and has the ability to make most elite boxers look bad. Horrible style and styles make fights. Hope josh wins but looking really drained at the weight. Joe McNally says he is 140 fighter and should stay at the weight ?
