Hey, personally I’d make a conversations bet on this one and take the OVER 10.5 rounds (it’s at -290 so you still dont get a great return, but it’s the safest bet IMO). Otherwise, I’d take Catterall via decision at a +150.

Not too gassed about this fight. The older guard of the 140 division has been found out as being overrated I feel. I like Josh Taylor though

Interesting. All of these old 140 guys are in the post-Crawford undisputed group. The belts were splintered after Bud. Flanagan fought Hooker for one. Then you had Relikh vs Prograis, Ramirez vs Imam and then Josh Taylor. So yeah, not the greatest group. But to be fair, they’re getting old and now appear to be getting taken out by Haney, Teo etc. You think Josh still has enough to handle Catterall though?

Has Josh Taylor EVER had a convincing win in his career? The last time I saw him, he was fighting dirty against Jose Ramirez, throwing rabbit punches and hitting on the breaks and generally acting like a donkey during the build-up to that fight. He could have made fans out here in the U.S., but proved to be a crude, dirty fighter. Glad Teo took him to school. I thought Taylor would retire after losing to Teo, but fortunately he didn't, and hopefully Jack Catterall gets to finally push him over the cliff. To me, a fighter of Taylor's quality getting to the "undisputed level at 19 wins is exactly what's wrong with boxing: Too many sanctioning bodies and too many average fighters calling themselves champions or unified. Could Taylor have even won a belt against monsters like Julio Cesar Chavez, or Frankie Randall, or Kostya Tszyu? No way.
