I respectfully disagree with Josh. Drafting a QB sets this rebuild back 2-3 years and JF1 has shown he’s the guy. Fire Getsy, hire an experienced OC and a DC. Draft Marvin Harrison Jr and find a real center, maybe a LT and next year we’re a contender.

@@tfredrick01you’re right JF was a Pace drafty. Still, this coaching staff had 2 seasons to make it work. We were number one rushing team last year. What happened to that this season?!? Instead of progression, we’ve regressed. Not a good look on the staff broski

I want Eberflus out no matter what!!! A competent head coach is more important than the qb position to me at this point.

@3:29.... Not necessarily true. Doug Pederson came in with the Jags and made a difference with Lawrence. McDaniel came in and made a difference with Tua. I'm sure there are HC candidates out there who'd relish the chance to work with a talent like Fields.

I don’t even have to watch this to know this is not going to happen. There will be a new coach (Harbaugh) and Fields will be the starter next year with Marvin Harrison Jr

@4:04.... It's a lazy view to put everything on Fields. To have all this "pocket awareness" etc. There needs to be a pocket. Fields can't block for himself. And no he doesn't have a decent OL.

Title should be the other way around. If Eberflus is out, then a new QB is coming.

they are better off trading down from both picks, acquiring more picks, then drafting a top edge rusher before a #2 WR (to replace Chase Claypool) & a starting C (Lucas Patrick upgrade) before a backup LT (Larry Borom is more of a RT). Braxton Jones is a solid starting LT. but they also need to draft a starting FS, a solid #2 TE (Robert Tonyan upgrade), a #3 TE (assuming Marcedes Lewis retires), #3 & #4 WR's (if Darnell Mooney & Equanimeous Saint Brown are not re-signed) & a #3 QB (Nathan Peterman upgrade who might eventually challenge #2 Tyson Bagent). I expect CB Jaylon Johnson to be franchised, + K Cairo Santos & LS Patrick Scales to be re-signed, while depth can & will be added during free agency, both before & after the draft.

You guys aren’t seeing this right! They can load the boat and try for Arch Manning, and have 3-4 1st round picks for next year. They have control for 2 more years on Justin fields. They could slack picks and lure any offensive mind, to this team! If he can work with Justin or even if he can’t . Three or four 1st rounders is more than enough!

Last season they allowed Fields to run (we all know) why have they stuck to making him a pocket passer, when he’s a true dual threat QB, they shouldn’t pick a Duel threat QB if there not going to allow them to play to there strengths , Field’s is only running on QB run plays, think how many games he would have won if they allowed him to run as well as playing in the Pocket 🤔🤔🤔

Getsy IS the problem. It's sad that Fields is gonna suffer for it. I want nothing to do with Williams, he's not a likable guy in anyway. Justin is. Justin has all of the intangibles you want, he just isn't a traditional pocket passer. Getsy has been trying to coach Fields like he's Aaron Rodgers, but you can't do that as a coach. You have to be able to be malleable to what your players do best, and Getsy's "system" REQUIRES Aaron Rodgers to work. You think Caleb Williams is Aaron Rodgers? LOL what a joke.

Makes no difference what plays are called when the QB does not throw the ball. Fields is just terrible. Watch film and see how bad he is at seeing open WRs. Getsy has also schemed up a top rushing team in the league two years in a row. That when teams know you can't pass so you have to run. He and Eberflus are going nowhere. If the excuse for Fields horrendous play last season was tear down and tank, then why is it not an excuse for the coaches?

If it is possible for the bears to pass on Marvin Jr. that would MAKE THEM THE MOST STUPID ORGANIZATION IN SPORTS. This would be like the spurs passing on #Wembenyama or a repeat of the Randy Moss draft #CurtisEnis.
