I find that she doesn't have much range as such left - still has power, and she's still maybe the best interpreter and song stylist in the business, but what used to be a soaring and agile mezzo soprano voice has turned into a fairly inflexible and limited contralto. But boy, does she know how to use what she's got left.

Josh you are the true winner…a man of God

Wish my Dad was still here to see/hear this. He would have loved this. He was a man of faith, an amateur country singer with his country music club here in NQ Australia and he sang right up until the week before he passed on 12th May 2023 whilst listening to his favourite country/gospel songs. I am not a person of faith, although I greatly respect those who are, but I am a person who loves all music, especially country, and this collab between Reba and Josh made me cry. 😢

We need more people to sing about god and faith thank you for signing this and sharing your faith with others ❤😊❤

I've never heard it either. Wonderful song and Reba was really feeling inspired I think. She gave it everything and her and Josh sounded amazing together. This was a very inspirational performance for them and us...at least it felt that way to me.

LOL BTW, Reba recorded this in, I think, 2017, and won a Grammy for it (Best Gospel Album; her first)!!! Her little sister is also an award-winning Gospel singer, and has sung with Keith Urban!!! She and her husband have a Cowboy Church, and she hosts a religious show!!

This was honestly Josh's best live performance so far. He and Reba sounded fantastic on this. He just wasn't my top 3 favorite at all even based on finale performances. His live solo performances were kinda underwhelming to me especially after his prelives. This is the Josh I loved in prelives.

Reba sang it back in, I think, 2017, and got a Grammy for it (Best Gospel Album; her first)!!! I'm almost positive it was a cover, but I can't remember who else sang it. She also recorded it as a duet, that same year, with Gospel singer, Lauren Daigle !!

I'm sure it wasn't intentional but interesting contrast between Reba's finalists. Josh here singing "Back to God" and Asher pushing the "woke" envelope. Like they are targeting two opposing voters by intent. It could be exactly why they made the final 2.

Amazing song. but number two spot was not for him. country lovers know John Legend is the threat😃 when it comes to nurturing talent I mean he does so amazingly. so they vote for the coach instead of the singer.

John Legend is not a threat, in any way, shape, or form---for one, he is NOTORIOUS for making bad decisions, regarding whom to keep!!! He did well, this time, keeping the right people, but that's because he kept Bryan, thinking he could be the next Huntley, and he kept Nathan because he's blaq---NOT that they weren't both deserving!!!

Neither of them are "virtue signaling"!!! Reba is very religious, and for instance, prays every time, just before going onstage, to perform!! She said, more than once, how much she loved being able to share her faith, in God, with Josh---and someone said he was a preacher; so, they are both living their belief, and it's not just for show!!!
