RACE 2
Started from 5th this time, changed a few things on the car in a bid to get the power back. Got another cracking start which put me right up behind Jim Deans in 3rd (Gavin had to pull off at the start due to a HT lead popping out). Spent a good few laps chasing and a few chances to over take, but it became clear that something wasn't quite right with the car again. Eventually Gavin managed to get himself back through the pack again. I tried to hold him off as this was the only action I had all race, but just didn't have the legs to keep him behind.
All in all it was a good weekend of racing! We got to watch alot more of the racing which was good as well as the HSCC Super Touring Car Challenge coming to visit which was superb seeing the cars! Colin Noble was the highlight attacking the chicane how it should be in his Vauxhall Vectra!
Thanks to Andrew Lamont of Andrew Lamont Motorsport Ltd for his set up on the car, it was on rails all weekend! Thanks to Helen Conner for helping out during the weekend! She has been upgraded to wheel/tyre changing now, soon to be moving up to full race prep for Orrco Racing! Thanks also to all the marshalls who gave up their time for the weekend!
