So glad that Josh seems to have his life on the sunny side again.

I have to reeeeally admire this guy. He goes from being the guitar player in one of the most influential bands of all time, to one of the best outright songwriters with QOTSA, to a Rod Stewart-esqe crooner. Talk about evolution!

My late husband used to send me a song every day, and this was my favorite. I also love Josh's work. He made me cry happy doing this one.

Right Down The Line is one of my favourite songs ever so I clicked on this video... I just can't get over the fact that Homme has blocked his ex wife from seeing their three kids. There's a video of them being removed from her custody screaming and crying, being dragged into a van outside a court house.. She hasn't seen them for over two years now, even under supervision. Knowing how fucked this is overshadows the music for me.

All I can really tell myself about that is, you never know what's really going on behind the scenes. Who really knows except for those closest to the family. I know there's been a lot of back and forth and people choosing sides, but I just can't. It does just put that little light bulb in your head though, that "what if?". I also know that when two people get together and things go south, it can bring out ugliness in both people that they never thought they were capable of. So who knows
