Josh Groban, an operatic pop singer in a class by himself, and a song that is made for a singer like him doing what he does so well. As he has branched out to different pop songs, I think he would be exquisite as a singer of an album of songs from the Burt Bacharach-Hal David songbook of music from the 1960s to the present, as Burt is still going strong in his early 90s. Albums of contemporary power ballads could be very special in the Josh Groban style. Bravo to Josh! Every song he sings takes the listener on a trip into the fantastic. He is one of our best male singers ever.

When my Dad was dying from kidney failure two years ago I would sit with him listening to Josh and it gave him peace and I knew he did not have long he always said it was an impossible dream for him to be here and as he passed away he was listening to his favourite Josh Groban song You Will Never Walk Alone I hear this amazing version of the Impossible Dream and instantly I see my Dad holding my hand singing along thank you Josh for giving me a memory I will always treasure love you from Australia xxx

Your story brought tears to my eyes as those same songs were my mom's favorites. I lost her far too young and still miss her each day.

The way Josh Groban delivers his songs really touch the people listening to him and that includes me.

Today was bad for me as well. My fiancee held me up with his love. He is the greatest. I got home from work and had this song in my notifications and as I listened to it, it made me cry but also feel strong. We have so many things to be thankful for and so many things to stay strong for. What a beautiful rendition of this old but ever so timely song from that timeless musical drama “MAN OF LA MANCHA” How we need some Quixotic individuals today who will not give up in the face of adversity. I first heard this over 50 years ago when our talented HighSchool drama students poured their hearts into a show that left many speechless and on their feet in applause. Josh- You gave it the vocal excellence that is your trademark Thanks for lifting our spirits during this continuous uncertain and unsettling national and world wide time in our lives! I hope to conquer my personal windmill- Leukemia- and join others who have been victorious in their battle.

Hello Gary, I too have loved this song for many years since watching the excellent film with Peter O'Toole as Don Quixote when I was about 14. It's become my life's anthem in many ways. I only just found Josh's version and it's made me cry as always as it's such a heart filling, hopeful song. I'm very sorry to hear of your cancer. I'm currently caring for my mum who has been diagnosed with breast cancer but we're using that wonderful quality of hope to get through it. I sincerely hope that you too find the strength and love you need to carry on fighting those foes, as after all, they are only as real as we make them.

Thanks for the encouragement. Just got back from Vanderbilt University Hospital after a week of more testing. Seems like a long process but they are keeping me in remission with maintenance Chemo treatment. I’m ready for the big one!!! BMT-Bone marrow transplant.

I remember when this song was released from the movie, I was 12 or so and I somehow have always connected with the lyrics. Josh Groban, you’re rendition is absolutely breathtaking. The pain in your voice in the beginning lyrics were gut wrenching and as you told the story, the “pain” eased while exploding with triumph. Beautiful simply beautiful!

Ally McBeal was a wonderful show I used to watch with my mother. When Josh Groban was on that show in 2001 my mother and I were blown away. Ever since then I have been a fan of his voice. He gets me in times of worst and times of happiness. Every time he sings I end up crying. One of my parent’s friends went to see him live and said he was wonderful. Another beautiful song.

That show was where I first heard Josh as well. My jaw dropped just like Ally's. I had to find out who this kid with the voice from heaven was. Huge fan and a few concerts and cd's down ever since. That kid is now a grown man with so much talent and love to share. You make this mom so proud.
