Josh Cox shares how Child Sponsorship changes lives | World Vision
World class runner and America record holder for the 50K, Josh Cox, meets his sponsored child, Roger, in Kenya as part of this year's True Spirit of Christmas Tour. Josh shares how it's changed Roger's life, Roger's family and community, but more importantly his own life.
"I never thought in my wildest dreams I would get be the America record holder for the 50K... and that I would get to do what I love and pursue my passions., chase my dreams....get to run full time But the truth is that anyone can set records, anyone can win races, but few years goes by and those records are broken and someone else is on the podium....but to be able to use my platform and use this opportunity to invest in a child's life it's amazing, it leaves a lasting legacy, one that will outlive my career and outlive my life and that's what makes child sponsorship so special." bit.ly/tsoc12YT

I just sponsored a child this week and I hope I get the opportunity to visit him
I can't wait to sponsor a child. These past few years I've been spending my money on weed, not that there's anything wrong with that, but I think it's time I give it up. I want to give so much to these children, to their families. Instead of wasting money on weed, I should be using it wisely to help another. I just can't believe I couldn't see it sooner...hopefully I can change, and in turn change someone's life for the better.
