The overwhelming peculiarity is I was obsessed with the debates about The LDS on YT show Heart of The Matter. Sean McCraney. But I could not help from so many LDS members being so pure, and reconcile that. So I decided to hear the other side. Truman G. Madsens' well researched oratory skills, heralded with such zeal and Christ Like Humility, brought me to finally start reading The BofM. Today, I set foot into the Church. And I wept. I am speechless !

Dean thank you for sharing, that brought joy to even my heart to hear that you come to church. That is good news. I am so grateful you did your research. Please don't stop looking for truth. Repentance and Truth of Our Savior Jesus Christ , that is the way we all had to find the truth by asking and searching. I pray that your journey end of Gospel of Jesus Christ and in the church will blossom to Greater Heights.

Your experience sounds awesome, Dean! I hope that today, a year later, you still feel the same delight and you still feel the Holy Ghost when you attend Church and read the Book of Mormon. I knew his sister, Bridget McCraney, when I was young adult age. She was always a sweet and beautiful girl. She occasionally used to drive several miles out of her way to give me a ride home from Church when I didn’t have a car for many months. Years later, when, by happenstance, I learned of her brother, Sean, I felt really sorry for her! But I felt even sorrier for her parents, whom I met a few times. Imagine having a deep and sincere testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and suffering with a son like Sean McCraney, who, being an apostate, doesn’t just quietly disagree with his parents and the doctrine of the Church, but that he also needs, somehow, to use tv and social media so that he can also be sure to lead others astray!! Wow! …I do hope he repents someday. It seems like, fortunately for him, when he finally does, his parents and siblings are the loving kind of people who will forgive him!

I'm currently preparing to go on my mission. In the few months since July of this year (2023), I have learned so much. I have grown in mind and spirit, and I can't deny my experiences. I have discovered things that I never knew, my eyes have been opened to the wonders of God, and my testimony will endure to the end of my life.

That was excellent. When you read first hand accounts of Joseph Smith by those closest to him, you realize these conflicting stories of his character are not in keeping with what those who knew him best say. I take the courtroom approach - if it isn't a first hand account, it is hearsay and not admissible.

Well truth holder the evidences on the table even in a court of law. There are many writings that confirmed the evidence. I confirm Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and no one else could denying it in a court of law. They have tried several different times try this case. How many more times will people put him on trial for the same charge. It doesn't matter how much time you spend slicing and dicing evidence , the truth will set you free. We have had too many people that have spent way too much time trying to destroy one man and one God and God to continue his mighty work Earth.

Christ's warning about false prophets did not state that ALL prophets would be false, for the system of prophets and apostles was to perpetuate (and did) after Christ’s departure - Mat. 17:15, 1 Cor. 12:27-28, Acts 13:1, Acts 11:28-30

Additionally, the warning of false prophets implies there would be true prophets otherwise he would of warned of any prophet.
