Joseph Smith: A Witness of Jesus Christ
For the past 22 years a team of historians has dedicated themselves to an unprecedented study of every historical document produced under the direction of Joseph Smith, the founder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout his life Joseph worked with scribes and secretaries to document the restoration of the Gospel. The project, known as The Joseph Smith Papers, is now complete and all these documents are published in a multivolume set. This documentary is an insightful look at the scope of this project and an opportunity to understand the man whose legacy continues to influence millions of people worldwide. Individuals who were part of this project share valuable perspectives on Joseph Smith, and his steadfast testimony of Jesus Christ.

Why did the Church delete Hyrum's teachings from the conference before his death? I believe God, Joseph, Hyrum, Emma and Jacob that polygamy is an abomination and whoredom. I'm hoping that Turley will put in his book truth about Joseph not ever teaching multiple wives and reveal those who did practice polygamy. I don't believe Joseph was a liar about polygamy. His words should be taught, not recollections of others who practiced polygamy. Who had other pressures and beliefs that weren't Joseph's. And why Brigham ever thought it right to practice polygamy and put it on Joseph can be added to all the other lies and corruption he taught and implemented into the Church. I hope someday Joseph can smile and not be let down by the Church.
With all the skills in this think tank are you guys able to identify what documents were not from Joseph smith.. like D&C 132… what will the light of Christ shine upon this…
I’m so grateful for Joseph Smith and his faithful life lived under circumstances that would crush anyone. I invite the whole world to find out about his life and see who he truly was…a man used by the hand of God to bring the restoration of the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth. I’ll forever be grateful for this great and humble, faithful man!

I disagree with your opinion. Cons, frauds or forgers can not survive the test of time-especially after they are gone; not around to keep covering it up. It is not humanly possible to con-struct a life from start to finish of Joseph Smith nor provide a perfectly consistant, seemless history. There is enormous amounts of evidence that is available that support his claims. You obviously have not studied, deeply, his life, his writings and everything he accounted for.... However, I do give you this; either he is a con, fraud and agent for Satan or he's what he claimed to be... nothing in between. HE is the later.... Peace and love.

Just read the book.
A simple man with an enormous amount of faith. I believe that he is a true prophet of God who was used to restore the fullness of the world.
God does exist hear and answer prayers, this things I knew myself for God heard and answered mine that no men could change nor destroy. Joseph Smith Jr. is and was a prophet of the restoration.
