I was working in Fulham, many years ago now. It was coming upto Christmas and I just got a text to say I wouldn't be seeing my children for Xmas. There is a little coffee stand in Fulham Broadway Station, I sat there with a coffee, absolutely gutted. A few minutes later, felt a squeeze on my neck, it was smiling Jose. We had a quick chat, shook hands and off he went. A class act of a class man.

To me the greatest manager of all time not because he won so many trophies but his ability to defeat teams much better than his teams. No one else has won treble with Inter or UCL with Porto or 3 EPL with Chelsea.

Pep has always worked with the best players, and non other than Messi for the best of his career so far. It would be interesting to see him take in a smaller team.

@@lolxalo Pep is very shrewd. He will not take over a challenge as he knows he won’t succeed. He did not win the UCL with Bayern & has not done so at MC either even though he has spent over a £1 bullions there. If the idiots Glazers had supported Mourinho at MU he would have challenged Pep & his MC team well by now. Then we the fans would have been able to see fantastic games.

Unlike chelsea fans who called him, judas United fans still show their respect to Jose. Everyone knew it was a wrong match, Jose and United. His style of football was complete opposite to what United fans wanted, though... Nevertheless, United fans still have a place for the former United Manager.

Accuse him for him arrogent but has to say he is special he does that what noone expected Winning Inter the Champions League after 51 years with one superstar footbaler that time Eto'o and the rest is history and made Porto the European champion for first time ever when they had to compete against that Barca, Real, Manchester , Milan

In my opinion, the greatest living manager. His achievements with Porto a foundation matched only by the likes of Alex, Ferguson and Don Revie , unlike those men he would achieve glory with multiple clubs.
As a manger I love Pep and footballing managers but if I could have played for any manager ever it would be Jose or Cloughy You’d really run through a brick wall for them
