his best analysis was his "there's the young and the young" when he rather cryptically and concisely assessed that Rashford will never ever be world class as he hasn't make notable improvements season on season. The way he worded it went well over most people's heads but he was absolutely right. That was in 2019.

They’ve posted this today for a reason. Jose and Gary have nailed this spot on. First season with the kids no signings no pressure, came 4th, stayed in the job. Soon as that summer window came around the pressure did too and that’s where Frank cracked.

Open to interpretation but I think Lampard took the job on with a view to impressing, hence putting himself forward as either a permanent replacement for Potter or a lead candidate for any number of premier league coaching roles next season (half the clubs in the premier league have sacked their coaches this season). So today’s result, along with the seven games previous, where Chelsea have actually regressed under Lampard’s ‘management’, has highlighted his shortcomings. Bottom line is that Lampard has been given opportunities at Chelsea (twice), Everton & Derby based purely on his playing career. He hasn’t taken half his badges and pretty much every coach out there is better qualified than him. Chelsea would have been better off leaving Potter in charge for the full season.

@@scholesiefirsttime Potter had lost respect of the big name players and was seen as weak-willed by the board. I believe they brought Lampard in to do what Rangnick did last season at United. They didn't care if we finished 9th or 14th, they wanted him to help give them info on who to keep and sell for the summer exodus. Some of the players will need to go within Poch's first two three weeks. It will be hard for Poch to make that assessment in that short a period so Lampard's insight will help with that. They couldn't ask Potter to do it because that would be effectively letting him know he was getting the sack at the end of the year but still asking him to continue. Few managers would accept a job as short term as this as they would value themself higher, but Lampard is doing this purely for the love of Chelsea.

Jose is one of the most intelligent and honest managers out there. Lampard’s first managerial stint at Chelsea was a win/win for him and the club. They had a transfer embargo at the time, which allowed him to put trust in the youth players who he already knew from his time at the club. He did well steering that young team into the top 4, but then ruined his managerial legacy with his results at Everton and in his 2nd stint at Chelsea.
He was such an exciting young manager back then... and he actually did pretty well with Chelsea in 2019/20. Man, how times have changed. 🙁🔵

Kinda correct, Lampard loves his players holding the ball and making quick movement on the ball. His off the ball tactics are questionable, Chelsea did well with him because they had people who could finish but these new set of Chelsea wouldn't even score if their opponents had no goalkeeper.
Same all, same all, Frank. He's first match was away to MANU, and did very similar system, and blind tactic, attack, attack, leaving the midfield far away from the defenders. As MANU hit them very fast on counter attack. He hasn't learnt much from 3 years ago.

4:50...Mou: "the biggest pressure is when everyone expects you to win" Thats Pep's life every season!
Jose is absolutely right. The pressure was the reason why they bought players with huge amount like Murdryk and Co. Is Murdryk really worth that money? But the pressure of needing someone to lift the team up made them pay the money. However, it is not a loss. After the failed season, what they bought in Murdryk is time. legend or not, youve got to win respect from young players, many of whom dont know who he is. Theyre 20...he is also cocky. He wont manage in the PL again.
Big morinho
This came after Chelsea got dismantled 0-4 by Manchester United in 2019. Now, they were once again embarrassed at Old Trafford, this time 1-4!
Jose is the only real manager in there
Remember the transfer ban Chelsea had. Lampard's been given the job twice. 1. Transfer ban, players let go, left with young inexperienced players 2. To fill a gap with the worse run team I can ever remember (30+ players in squad, players who know they don't have to impress Lampard) who have no proper hierarchy to help the manager and club. Boehly has destroyed them and is stepping down to a different role. Off to watch his Baseball team no doubt. Frank's never had an Edu and all the organisation Arsenal have. He shouldn't be judged on his two spells will a dumpster fire of a club. He's one of the best players PL has ever seen, he was incredible. He should be afforded a proper opportunity and be judged on that.

Honestly I think frank Lampard is a bad manager doesn’t mean he can’t become a good manager. Just think way tooo much responsibility at the start if you don’t hit a break at the start with big teams you can never come back. But if you start low build and build it’s a lot better

@@georgemorley1029 for his experience and knowledge of the game I’m sure he does have some good aspects of coaching insights to the game. But what I’m saying is he’s took way too much on way to early It hasn’t worked out an now he’s branded a bad coach. And when you look at it now he has no experience at all except at the highest level at such a short time and no time to really develop.
Graeme Souness was completely right, that team and this one right now has no goals in them, This season they conceded LESS goals then arsenal which is absolutely insane considering where chelsea and arsenal are on the table. They just dont have a way to score goals, Kai Havertz being played as a striker is a suicide.
Listen to Garry Neville, "English manager don't get top or big job" whao!
De special one
Carra and Gary lobbying for Lampard and Jose being cold blooded Jose again.
After the sale of Chelsea, the new leadership did not understand and support Chelsea (fans, players, coaches and staff). The Chelsea leadership should reflect on why Chelsea fans are crying out for Russian Abramovich and not for players or managers. After taking over Chelsea, if the new leadership had not taken over, but had kept the existing manager, the players and staff would have played stably and produced good results. More important than money is trust, and what keeps trust is the fans.
Great job frank😅😅😢
4:50 Arsenal 😂

I love it when Jose is sinking...
Lampard only has himself to blame. Look at all the names he could have called upon and said can i sit under you for a year or 2 and learn. But instead he rushed it look at arteta with pep and where is he ???
Chelsea beat Man City to win the UEFA Champions League (2020-2021, League: Top4). The following year Chelsea were sold, and within a year Chelsea were out of the top 10 of the Premier League for the first time in the 21st century. I wonder if any Champions League winning team has fallen so quickly.
