I've seen or read interviews where he mentions recording with very rudimentary equipment, on purpose to have a raw sound as he feels it should be heard. Live he has more of a chance of showcasing his amazing skill.

He doesn't multi track his voice live, Sounds much better.

This started playing in the background and I didn't realize or forgot it was live. Great recording quality.

you can clearly notice the influence of Silvio Rodriguez on him, the way his voice sounds.

Great musician.
