Over the six seasons from his breakout in 2010 to what now looks clearly to have been his last elite season in 2015, Bautista was worth 32.5 wins above replacement-the sixth-best total for a position player over that span, trailing only Mike Trout, Andrew McCutchen, Miguel Cabrera, Adrian Beltre, and Joey Votto. His wRC+ of 156 ranks fourth in all of baseball for that span. His walk rate ranks second behind only Votto. His 227 home runs were the best in baseball by 28. Of the 32 players with at least 130 home runs over that span, his strikeout rate was 7th lowest. If he played right field for the fuckin Yankees or Red Sox he would be a considered a god. Which he was and never got respected for it, except by his team mates and Blue Jays fans. Suck it.

This guy is a legitimate star. One of the best players in the last decade. I don't care how much of a nuisance he is, he's been a treat to watch. 6x All star, 4x finished in MVP voting in top 10, 3x silver slugger, and led the majors in home runs in both 2010, and 2011. He averages 32 home runs and 95 RBIs every season, plus he has a hell of an arm. I think only Miguel Cabrera has more HR than Bautista since 2010

I've been thinking about this, I want to know if anyone has the answer: During the fight with Bautista and Odor, the ball was thrown away from Moreland at first and Smoak reached safely. Just out of curiosity, if he wanted to, could Smoak have kept running the bases and scored while the fight was going on, or is all play stopped because of the brawl?

@jrc01718
6 жыл бұрын
No, people hate him 'cause he's an asshole, plain and simple. Clutch hitters are all around the league, Jays 'fans' (bandwagoners who still hardly understand baseball and were basically non-existent before 2015) just think the world now revolves around them because of a couple of semi-successful seasons and big hits, and that the rest of the league and the umps hate them for it and are out to get them. Jays nation needs to get over themselves lmao.
@jrc01718
6 жыл бұрын
Nick Hughes calm down, I didn't say you, personally. But yes, 75% of Jays fans are clueless bandwagoners, considering games at Roger's Centre were basically empty before the 2015 playoffs, and then call themselves 'die-hards.' Fans literally called the cops and started a petition over "match rigging" over some bad calls (like every team gets). And get the hell over the Texas feud already, maybe your precious Bautista wouldn't have gotten punched in the mouth if he hadn't hard-slid into second base way after the ball was gone because he was sour about getting beaned, 'apparently' because of the stupid bat flip. You're the biggest bunch of whiny bitches in the league, hands down. Signed, a Canadian.

Odor can throw a punch but he can't throw it to 1st base
That title though
Lol when you’re pretending to fight. It’s
bautista has fought with all the players of different teams
Surprised this video isn't an hour long😂😂😂
he s making revenge in the way of baseball
5:06 he had every right to argue. that was about 9 feet off the plate
Jose is the Demarcus cousins of the MLB
Kevin Pillar vs. The world!
Lol I just realized that Bautista and Drake looked the same when they were like 20
I don't know about you, but I enjoy watching Jose Bautista.
Now we need the compilation of him getting the shit beat of of him
You should do one for Madison Bumgarner, but you'd have to update it after every start.
lmao only beltre would bear hug him like that
Did anyone notice that bill welkie threw him out twice in 2 out of the first 5 or 6 ejections
Lol im new to watching baseball (but have played it for years, currently play 3/4 seasons and varsity) but i would like to see jose bautista vs. Bryce harper
I love Bautista
I love that lol, try to hit him and then the very next pitch he blasts one
Apparently no one taught him in Little League to not argue with the umpires. Or how to slide. Or how to duck a punch.
1:44 The pitch was fucking perfect.
I was at the odor Bautista game it was so funny! The guy behind me started chanting USA USA USA
Bautista is one of the best players in Blue jays not just blue jays but MLB too
When u realize almost all of these are against the rangers
Jays need this guy back. Jose,Jose,Jose!!!!!!!
Secret Base- Beef History: José Bautista vs. Bill Welke
Odor had to have everyone held back so his little ass didn't get beat
He's the crosby of the MBL.. He's a good player but he likes to chirp and acts like a baby when he doesn't get his way...
Bats in the belfry
This guy is a legitimate star. One of the best players in the last decade. I don't care how much of a nuisance he is, he's been a treat to watch. 6x All star, 4x finished in MVP voting in top 10, 3x silver slugger, and led the majors in home runs in both 2010, and 2011. He averages 32 home runs and 95 RBIs every season, plus he has a hell of an arm. I think only Miguel Cabrera has more HR than Bautista since 2010

Julian no, cabreras actually number two. Followed by encarnacion. Joey bats is number one, and if keeps his numbers uo he can be the decades most productive slugger.

Oh YAAAA
The Odor punch came after an illegal slide. Bautista was intentionally trying to hurt him. Watch the punch in slow motion and you'll see that Bautista was also about to punch.

It wasn't an illegal slide it was just an aggressive slide

Broke 2 scenarios of the slide rule. Must have contact with ground before foot or hand touches base and must remain in contact with base after slide is completed. He stood up at least 7 foot past the base.

That Nerd illegal slide it turned into a double play cuz he illegal slide
I just realized if you watch closely pillar and Donaldson hit odor
A message to Bautista, the maker of this video, and to the commenters: You're all triggered, so don't be trying to take the high ground in this fight
Bush is a "bush league" pitcher and Darling is no "darling umpire" for bluejay fans! hahahaha
somebody should have cranked that goof Pillar!!
I get joy watching Jose Bautista getting triggered.
What's his name again? I don't think I caught it
Odor with the punch heard round the world

I swear, if I was a major league pitcher, i would bean him first pitch, erry tyne
8 minutes and 30 seconds. Jesus lmao
his team he got ejected here we go again
Anger management...

I feel like the play was over at that point, but I’m not sure.

Right, that makes sense. I'm never sure when it comes to bench-clearing brawls, but I can see that.

Ahhhhh okay yeah, I see that. Definitely makes sense.
People hate Bautista because he has helped lift the Toronto Blue Jays organization back to where it always should have been, a force to be reckoned with. It is about time the Jays and their fans have something to root for and hate other teams who wish they had a guy like him...

Brad Vanderberg no, people don't like him because he's a dramatic bitch when something doesn't go his way and he plays dirty on the bases.

Signed, a Canadian.
how many times can you possibly br ejected from games like damn
Okay I originally began to watch this because I thought "how bad can this really be? It's just baseball". This guy has full blown rage problems.
1:09 Bautista didn't even hit him
Cool channel
Why was this guy loved in Toronto? He played with emotion and flare.
Donaldson tackles odor
Who is Hose Bowteesta?
