Funny clip from a Royal Gala Performance in aid of the José Carreras International Leukemia Foundation.
Raimondi notices that he lost his notes just before the music starts.
Baltsa informs Ricciarelli and when she whispers it into Carreras' ear he can't hold back his laughter.
From then on it's all playfulness on the stage.
This clip always makes my day so I thought I'd share it with you.
I added the beginning because the fun starts with Raimondi en Carreras reactions to the strange omega shaped laurels that they receive. Raimondi's face is priceless.

When she whisper she say in italian "e poi? (And then...?)" I think she said that because everyone are singing by heart and even Ricciarelli doesn't remember quite sure what's next (That's also why she has that expression after Carreras laughed) XD.

Thank you for sharing this video with us, it made my day, too! Raimondi never forgets the words to anything so it's doubly funny and very charming when he pretends to have forgotten them. They all look and act so wonderfullly enthusiastic, it's a pleasure to watch!

I was the Stage Manager for this, and it's still one of my fondest memories. So many laughs and behind the scenes panic moments! Thank you to Alan Sievewright and Iambic Productions who put it all together.

Tutti a pontificare e a gracchiare... Se Jatia vi sta angipatica ok ma snettiamola di pretendete che sia Maria Goretti quando tutte le soprano sono primedonne spesso capricciose, quanto al GF da bene a godersi la vita anche adesso, intanto ha fatto un film con Avati e ha vinto il nastro d' argento...
