I'll never forget the memory of that goal against villa. Stuck in a Swiss hospital after a serious ski injury, watching the stream with headphones and then he did that I basically screamed 'get in, come on!'. Glanced up and the room with 6 or 7 swiss people in their beds all looking at me 😂

I was always behind arteta. The main reason for me was right from the beginning you could see he really wanted to sort the club out. Install the right attitudes in the players. Get rid of dead wood and bad influences. Reconnect club and fans. He was in love with arsenal and thats why he was the right man for the job. He is the only one since wenger who lives and breathes the club.

This is what you call "ELITE MENTALITY". I'm a bit taken aback after listening to this interview. I can't actually believe Chelsea didn't even want to keep him as a bench/ tactical option or even just as a figurehead in the dressing room. He talks about going back to Italy, but my gut feeling is that Arteta will keep him till he retires or maybe until his on field performance starts to take a MASSIVE dip. What a guy to have in the dressing room.
