Brenda was that marketable Asian American female for Disney in the early 2000’s I don’t believe it was that many that fit the Disney demographic back then Brenda broke down barriers in Disney and that’s why she’s a legend in my eyes I love Brenda Song

It’s the crowd clapping and dancing to a completely different rhythm than the song for me lol

He did an interview about this on Jimmy Fallon and talked about how he doesn't know how to play the guitar, so apparently they told him to just keep his hand still and the cameras would be moving around so people wouldn't notice.

His _"woohoo"_ 0:07 is killing me 😭. He didn't even move his hand, it's always the same chord and the worst is that he takes a look at his guitar every time as if he was paying attention to the chords he played. I love this song, the ambiance of the 2000s

The lyrics of this song mean a lot. Like they’re so deep and I’ve always loved this song because of them 😭 also Stuck in the Suburbs will always have a place in my heart

It's crazy to think that this movie came out when I was only 7 years old, and here I am being 19 already and bringing back so many good memories. Love this movie so much!

I have vivid memories of this playing at one of my mom's old classmates house while her and a few of her classmates were planning their 20th reunion. I was there because I was still too young to stay at home by myself. I ended up watching it with a few of the kids there.

It's likely that he didn't sing. Disney is known for using the vocals of other artist and having their starts lip sync. They've done it in starstruck and teen beach movie, and I'm sure they did it here. Love Taran, but I don't think this is his voice.

+Lacy Spencer Let's not forget the first High School Musical, where Drew Seeley was pretty much the singing voice of Troy! Zac Efron only did a little bit of singing in that movie, while Seeley handled the majority of it. This was done because Efron was cast AFTER the songs were written, and said songs were written for a tenor, while Zac was a baritone. However, in the sequels, Zac did his own singing
