Fire red 3s are more og in my book, Jordan Brand screwed up by aging the white cement 3s when it never needed aging in the first place, smfh

I’ll be 49 in August, and I remember when the OG’s had come out. Both pairs are nice, but that vintage look steals the show.

I'm a og at 52 and the first pair of original Jordan 3's I got back in 1988 was the fire red 3's so these have more nostalgic value for me than the white cement 3's. Both pairs are 🔥! Another great video and review MK!👍

@@mkthetruthdodbent4089 lol, you can't go wrong with either pair. I do see your point about wanting the shoes to be pre aged since it look evenly aged and all done at once. But on the other side of the coin a og guy like me loves breaking in the sneakers the old fashioned way, by wearing them! 😀👍

OG here as well. I’ll go with the Cements. I remember when they dropped originally. But you can’t go wrong either way. We lived in the greatest era of sneakers 1998-1995

I like both. The cements can wear with anything damn near the 🔥 red's just look doper, cleaner and standout more and have more detail to them. I'll have to pick the 🔥 red's.

Any OG 3 with nike on the heel is a perfect shoe in my book.

I prefer the non-vintage look of the fire red’s but the white cement’s are my preferred colorway. Both are dope.

As much as I love a crispy new clean sneaker the reimagined just for so many reasons gets my vote hands down. The uniqueness of the pre aged look along with the story of the reimagined series. Then you add the fact that they just stretched the life and wear ability of the shoe and it wins for all common sense and practical reasons.

I'd take fire red 8 out of 10 times

The more I see those fire red 3s, the more I want them. They are one of the og colourways, after all. However, I think my recent double up on the white cements just, well, /cements/ my preference between the two. If Jordan Brand ever releases the true blues in this updated cut...

What's funny is I did the same thing when I picked up my pair on Saturday. To me though I really do think it would depend on what mood I'm in at the time. I do have a lot of red in my wardrobe so I will probably end up wearing fire reds more.

That white, black, sail, and elephant print just flows better imo. I prefer the lighter and thinner elephant print, but wouldn't want that on the Fire Reds -- the darker fits better on that shoe. Great comparison vid!

I didn’t get the Reimagined because I have the Fire Reds but I’m here because I can get the Reimagined at retail from a friend.. i didnt know that sail hits made that much of a difference 🔥🔥.. I can’t choose.. Great professional vid per usual brotha

I think it’s a pretty even comparison I like the fire red more but the white cement has more neutral colors , if I had to buy one it would be the white cement , However I doubled up on both

Depending on the type of day it is will make the difference in which pair to wear for me… if it’s a nice day out then the bright whites are coming out… if it’s a gloomy but NO rain day the cements will be the move and u will be able to spot the difference in the shoe

I gotta go WC3 over FR3. Both are absolute classics!!

Next month, do a Jordan 3 Wizards Vs the Cardinal 3's from last year?!? I did cop the Cardinal 3's but I also slept on how fire they are, until I took them out the box last week for the first time since I bought them. I hear the Wizard 3's are just as fire except the midsole is blue.

Mannnnnn I honestly love both of these and the true blues equally. But as far as wearability I’d say the white cements have it. Pre-aged or not they just go with any and everything 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

First thing I also did when I got home is compare them to my fire reds. Definitely caught the leather color difference immediately. Would’ve preferred if jb left the wc3s without doing the reimagined look. Fire red 3s still my favorite!

With all the QC issues that the White Cements seem to have I'm not all that broken up about not hitting on them, seeing as how I also have 2 pairs of the Fire Reds.

Same here, after watching numerous KZreadrs complaining about almost every pair of wc3's had QC issues I was glad I didn't waste money on them. I have the fire red 3's and they are perfect. 👍

This is weird cause I just got my reimagined kicks yesterday and I did just what you did in this video. That's wassup and imma cheat and say both but the black and white joints are my favorite. I do have a question if you can find the time to respond. What do you think of Nike calling the reimagined, cement 3's when it's clearly elephant print? I literally been going back and forth on fb with people about this. I literally been wearing Jordan 3's since day 1. My first pair where the black elephant print. Me and my father went out and bought them. Believe it or not he actually still has his pair all these years later. Trying to get them up off him lol.

You can find the reimagined for a decent price. Got my pair for $280, it's not retail but it's not terrible either for such a dope pair

Fire Red 3’s I wanted since I was a kid so it’s an easy pick over WC3s.

I think the fire reds look better but the white cements are more versatile.

At this point I’d take either. But putting one above the other. BUT if I were to compare… it’s the WC3 vs the BC3. BC3 over both these pairs.

Once those fire reds start aging them joints gonna be hard to, 3s are one of the hand full of Mike’s that go crazy broken in and the Nike air on the back freak the whole aesthetic of the shoe

Both are great shoes I just hate the sockliner on the reimagined I guess it just depends on the fit as to which I would choose

I had the black/cements in 88 but I always thought the cleanest out of 4 colorways of the Jordan 3!

Love both shoes. The quality on the FRIII is way better than the reimagine IIIs

I just opened my White Cements today. I wasn't even going to buy them because I thought they were a bit boring compared to the Fire Reds which I love. But after seeing the Reimagined in-hand my god they are beautiful! They are my favorite now and I can see why people love them as they are so clean! They can be worn with a lot more outfits too. The Fire Reds are so much fun though so I am glad to own both! 😊

Fire Reds are way better in my opinion. I’m not a fan of the aging look on the “white” cement reimagined shoes. For $210, I don’t want my shoes to be pre-aged. That’s like a car dealership selling you a brand new car for MSRP and the paint is faded.

For sure fire red 3s are more padded than the white cements. Noticeable on foot.

I prefer the WC3s. I just don't like red lol. Only exception is the Black Toe 1s, my top 3 favorite Jordan 1s after the Royal's and Court Purple 1.0s

White cements are more casual, however the fire reds are just more fire 🔥

Nike! smart for bringing sneakers out, with the whole vintage look, they knew that people didn't like, when there shoes turned that yellowish/off white color

Because widows peak or not don’t really matter. It’s just a mid point where the leather is cut for centering on the shoe

Katrina 3 was one of my favorite 3s

I’ma white cement kinda guy. Love the crisp of the fire red but they executed the WC3 Perfect and I think they’ll still look good later idk could be wrong

I hate the reimagining concept. I still got a pair of the white cements and also fire reds. But I simply just want ny sneakers how they would look new. They’ll get yellow eventually so let me do it myself

Those reimagined 3's are even going to look worse in the future, and you definately wouldn't want to wear those anymore. I'd rather get a white pair and age them myself.
