Joola has changed the game with the Gen 3 lineup of paddles. Their Propulsion Core Technology makes us flinch just thinking about it. But never mind the unprecedented power, these paddles have as much touch and feel as any paddle on the market.
They are launching this technology with the Hyperion, Perseus, Scorpeus, and the new Tyson McGuffin inspired Magnus shape, which provides a slightly shorter handle (5") and a larger hitting surface on the face.
These paddles are a huge leap in paddle technology that will no doubt have an enormous impact on how this game is played for years to come.

Awesome review, much love from Briones Pickleball.
It's very interesting that Ben and Colin are not using these paddles as they have the distinct audible sound on the new paddles. I'm really curious as to why

Has anybody used them in tourney play? I thought Joola was keeping a tight embargo until release.

@@echochapman7657 No the Embargo does not apply to Pro's who are sponsored by them of course. Anna Bright, Jardim and others have used them for months . Listen to their matches and the deep sound

They are still not fully used to them. Only certain players are allowed to use them at tournaments, which is BS. One of them gifted one of them to "someone" and that "someone" tried to play a tournament with it and was not allowed to do so. How weird is that?
Great video!
for my game that swing weight is very high, will the 16mm hyperion be more maneuverable than the 16mm perseus?
Since it has extra dwell time is the 14mm playing more like Gen2 16mms?
Been trying to order one all morning, but nothing shows up on their website... except today is the release. Any idea how to actually place an order?

11AM EST was the release date. It's on there now.
If someone's primary paddle is a Gen 2 Perseus and it needs to be replaced, would you recommend they upgrade to a Gen 3 Perseus or stick with the Gen 2?
Well done
I still can't find it on their site.
$280 ouch
How’s the swing weight on the Magnus?

@@zachcarmichael699 thank you!
$280 for these with no discount? So many power paddles on the market. I’ll wait for the Nexus ProStar.
Why not just wear goggles then? No big deal
Once again the rich get more advantages .
