Thanks man! He went through A LOT of physical changes to get to his current design, over the course of a few years (I had conceived the idea of what would eventually become this cartoon as early as the rise of fawful days)

Animating Fawful was great practice and also some of the most fun I've ever had with a character (thanks in no small part to Spikey Belmont's performance!)

When the world needed him the most, he returns. Also WOW your animation skills have improved so much! Glad you're back Danny.

It's not Bowser Jr, but oh my god it has so much charm! Of course like others have said you as an animator have just gotten so much better over the years! Not to mention the voice actors did an incredible job! I already love the dynamic between these three, and I can't wait to see more! Joobalus is definitely my favorite though👀 I thought the platform itself looked a bit strange to be considered a platform, but that's about the only gripe I had. Keep up, Danny! As well as everyone else who worked on this! You're all amazing

The Voice Of The Supreme Leader Changing From A soft Sound To a Very Deep Sounding Voice is Hilarious

The first thing to capture my eyes was the metal specifically the gold medal on Helio Joobalus clothes. How it shine and reflected. Then you noticed little details on the colthes like how some of the stitch work shines depending how he moves in the light. How the under suit looks like it's made out of 85% polyester mix with 15% elastic the kind you see in workout clothes. How the light reflects from the eyeball like in real life. The fur and feather texture on the body is interesting. Except for the tail feathers the rest almost reminds me of stone that was carved with a tooth chisel and than some shots like a worn old polyester shirt from " the North Face." On Fennec zoom the diamond shined his face fur look like tree bark. The movement of the feathers acting as hair on the high counselor is beautifully done. In fact all the characters movements is nicely done and timed perfectly with the sound effects. Fennec shoes are interesting in some shots they look like they're made out of metal then in other shots they look like shiny plastie? His suit looks more like a rubbery material then fabric.

Wow that was a great and detailed technical analysis! Thank you so much it was a very interesting read, especially since you pretty much everything right (such as Lumen's shoes not being fully metal, as the metalness was toned down otherwise they would have been too dark)! P.S.And Joobalus's jacket is made of brocade ;D

I love the sass of the first "bigger" from joobalus during the "song". Also love how he has a bit of a big wobbly belly

Fun fact, that sideways head movement had to be hand-animated since we weren't able to replicate it in the mocap hahaha

Even though it’s not bowser Jr it is still cool to see Danny make something original.

I thought for sure you were gone this time Danny. I mean, sure. Usually you're gone for extended periods of time buuuuut 4 years is longer than normal. Although I'm happy that your still making stuff. Also your animation has improved ALOT. I love the emotion you put into the all characters faces and movements. Nice!

Ok watching this for the first time its pretty good. Motion caption is noticable but not terribly out of place. Animation when not motion cap is smooth and fluid. Facial expression are peak, and character designs are perfect.

My god I remembered back when your Jr. series started and have been watching each episode as soon as it came out. The amount of skills you've developed throught the years. It's amazing. Good on ya, this looks like high budget TV series. Love to see your newest stuff. Great work man.

This really inspires to keep going. Saw your "A day with Bowser Jr." series back then when I was like 11 years old. I love the animation. This sea bird character really reminds me of king dedede. Also, even if they are a little bit Evil, they still have manners and knows the consequences of some decisions. They are not using builders because they could sold them out and killing them would wound their image (they also said it would be a waste because killing them means having less hands for other projects).
