I like how all the episodes combined make up literally an hour and a half; literally movie length that's how you know this series is somethin' special

I don’t wanna sound hyperbolic but this belongs in a KZread hall of fame lol. The production value, the humor, the quality. A tour de force of editing and planning lol

Funny, too, as apparently (though it's all rumors and hearsay, you'd have to do some digging to find the original source) JT hated making most of it. His sponsor (which most assume to be the mouse himself based on the timing and amount of copyrighted material he was allowed to use) was cutting jokes he liked left and right, forcing him to make ones he thought were bland, and so he basically did the bare minimum. And yet, his bare minimum at this budget was immensely entertaining, possibly the best thing he ever made. With humor he didn't like being some of his best gags. Perhaps Jontron was always a creator meant for this sort of thing, tight and curated. A reviewer on a leash. If anything, he was holding himself back by NOT holding himself back I talk like he's dead or something but I just find his content past like...howling II to be incredibly unfunny and low-effort, barely a step above reaction channels. And, you know, he's super racist apparently. I guess always has been if you look back. Glad he doesn't make a fuss about it, no JK rowling style decent into extremism, but still off-putting to think about.

Every Jontron video I watch and have watched for many years. But this series I saved for one day, a day when I'm feeling really down and needed a pick me up. Today is that day.

Ironically Jon not knowing who Plo Koon was actually did mean he must've been living under a rock, because that's a fan favourite character these days

His knowledge of Star Wars, at least at this time, seems to only be from the original trilogy and maybe some of the prequels, but he probably just completely forgot or chooses to ignore what the prequels were about, due to them being considered bad for most of his life.

The last good thing out of Jontron was Starcade COUGH.

I remember waiting for these to drop back in the day. Times sure were different. I was stuck at work most of the holiday.

I never realized how much of the script was written by the oney guys. This explains a lot.

Also, I never noticed that Zach Hadel was Yoda and Indie’s wife. Such an odd detail, but fitting for the time.

also , the phantom menace game.. dawww i think that was the first game i honestly played more to just explore the sites while pondering how one could have used the mechanics to make another more rad game like.. how the battle droids appears to use the same weapons you can use , and it hade decent 3d etc on pc and dam.. gungan frontier, honestly could have merged the mechanics of those two games into soothing sandboxes or impossible to beat survival rampages ^^

my favorite part of the star cade episodes is jontron spending hundreds of dollars on an SS uniform for a visual gag and then finding out later that he has trouble with other people not the same skin color as him
