I LOVE how so many of the musicians are SMILING. Sometimes you're playing in an orchestra and you know that you're absolutely slaying a song and it sounds unbelievable, you just can't help but smil;e. Look at those ratbag violinists grinning at each other behind the soloist, the bassist nodding and smiling. It's so infectious - and this singer is unbelievable! Such emotional maturity and power. Loved this performance, very glad to find it.
This song is childhood, golden hour, late afternoon tea in the backyard, this song is the chilly autumn days and the comfort it brings, and friends and coffee in sweet cafes, this song is love and heartbreak and dreams and jubilation all wrapped together in the prettiest bow.
The orchestra is phenomenal
After hearing Joni Mitchell sing her most popular hit 'Both Sides Now' nearing the conclusion of the 2024 Grammy Awards, I began to search for different artists interpretation of that song. Marlon Solomon's version is also awesome.
How any of the musicians are playing without bawling their eyes out, I will never know. Deeply, achingly beautiful rendition
This is the absolute best version of this song! Marlon Solomon puts so much incredible feeling into it! Epic!
His voice is beautiful!!!

Mr. Solomon....your astounding voice is like trying to guess what kind of puppy will come through the door next...breathy followed by rich....by subtle then by deft....to powerful and all roads in between. It was an amazing performance. Thank you.

Such a great arrangement and great vocals. i wish I could get the sheet music for the orchestration - and not just the melody. Anyone know if that is possible?
Fine horn
No one better to interpret this than an African-American singer. They are the most soulful singers ever!
