    At 10-7 it's game on but at 11-6 I feel jones has lost his opportunity to become champion plus it's the phycological damage at losing that final frame with a big lead and Wilson requiring a snooker but on the other hand this will of put fire into Wilsons blood to win that frame and knowing how deflated jones was to slip 5 behind

    when these occur I always remember Hendry vs Hallet... Hallet was winning 8-0 and hendry ended up winning the masters final 9-8, its not over until its over but it becomes harder for a comeback yeah

    It just seems to me that Jak Jones is rushing his shots and Kyren Wilson is trying to play the best shot he can manage, pretty sure Jak is in between two minds on some of these shots, he needs to compose himself and decide on exactly what he is trying to play...

    I wouldn’t rule out Jak coming back and winning this. If he wins the first mini session today 3-1 then he’s right back in it, and Wilson will be feeling the pressure .. and he can be fragile when that happens.

    Jak would have had a lot more hope had it gone 10-7 rather than 11-6. Kyren was extremely lucky twice at the end of that frame. First when he missed the pink and then when he missed the final black off it's spot. Both times he was very lucky not to leave a pot on.

    Jak missed a trick here. Should have potted the easy yellow to start with and then why go for the double on the black and throw it away. Just play a safety shot. He got so lucky as well he messed up so many safety shots where it ran safe. He’s lost the match now unfortunately.

    I think that was a crucial frame that Jak lost...more for psychological reasons..Wilson seem to be the more solid player and he should win this final relative easily

    There have been comebacks but I don't think Jak Jones can win this match I don't care what Hendry and Co say. I think Kyren Wilson is too strong for Jak Jones and he won't let that lead slip too much against Jones that is a big problem for Jones.

    Reminded me of Dennis Taylor and Steve Davies in 1885 . I used to play snooker then at the Stafford Railway Club before they sold the land to Tesco,. Bummer 😢

In my sport I had nerves only in the first rounds so I really don’t understand nerves say in the semis or final why nerves ?     Jones said after the semi final he knew he would not get any sleep last night, he mentioned after todays play he is shattered, this lad is not very bright. He could have ensured he at least got a few hours sleep, before the biggest game he is likely to ever play, yet he has probably been up all night drinking a lot of caffeine all day, stupid.

I really can’t believe why you have nerves in a final beyond me my nerves always in the last 32 16 ?     Jak keeps hitting shots far too hard - even when he just needs the pot. Lad needs to calm down - this final would be much closer if he did……he’s throwing chances away. In the penultimate session and he’s just done it again - just needed pink to win the frame but twatted it and missed.

    It's a mediocre final to a mediocre tournament. You might think tighter pockets would favour the best players but it hasn't worked out that way: there have been more misses, and that increases the influence of luck. These two have basically been the luckiest, not the best.

    This has happened all throughout this tournament it seems like the cloth is loose or overly stretched in places causing the balls to turn off which is poor for club tables let alone championship tables

    they use Chinese tables these days, and the wooden frames are cheap, unseasoned crap that doesn't hold the weight. To compensate, they bow the middle upwards, which means as the table gets older the run of the balls changes as the wood warps. I'd rather have a reconditioned Edwardian table than some of the crap that passes for brand new.

Which to be fair he can only do that by Wilson falling apart as Jones constantly misses easy shots to put frames away . We would love to see it happen and he would be a fairytale champion.
