I think she was the best person to present this award to him. Him just putting his head on her shoulder and crying. The care and simple safety to get it out in that embrace. May God shield and continue to bless him and all black men. We must cover them.

Iyanla is a GREAT WOMAN the way she embraced him and when she was swiping his back, she was swiping away the embarrassment that he went through the humiliation and the hurt and pain. It was like she was saying you are reborn and you are a new person yesterday was yesterday you lift your head up today is a new day, hold your head up high black man he is loved forgiven and wonderfully made. I speak Life into you BLACK MAN.

He will. After we have nursed him back to health, prayed for and over him, fed him and helped strengthened him... Hollywood will come calling and take credit for his rebirth, his humanity, humbleness , repentance and talent. When something gets deemed unworthy, they toss it away. Then when God polishes him with grace and mercy and he gets shined up, they will realize his true beauty only after the flames. ❤

@@THEDOORIZCLOSED I think the "our generation" part was speaking about actors after some of the great names you mentioned. If you watch him in the loki series you can really see some amazing skills involved. Why would we be emotional based on us agreeing with the original comment? Was it because Johnathan Majors was emotional in his speech? I'm pretty sure our claims on his skill are based off what we have seen in his roles. Don't be prejudice because we may like someone or something more then you.

That was a genuine moment. Not of movie star or famous person. That was a Black man who had experienced hurt, rejection, pain, and defeat and had not been able to express his hurt and sadness, cause we as Black men have to always have on a brave face and aren't allowed to feel despite what's transpiring in our lives. This showed THAT Black man no longer being able to hold it in or put up a front and this showed the love of a Black woman recognizing everything I just said and her maternal instincts knew he just needed to hugged and held and shown it's okay and that he is cared for. What a beautiful moment.

I Loved how he said he stands on his mother’s Shoulders and said when he was in court and they said guilty and he turned around and looked at his mom and she said it’s OK. It’s just something about a Mother’s Love that makes you feel like you can withstand and go through anything. Many Blessings to Jonathan and Megan and his Family.🤲🙏🏽🦾🦾🙌🏾

I will never spend a time at the theaters if they don't give him a second chance, because he's innocent on all accounts, they just had to punish him in some kind of way. He did nothing to that woman. She did everything to him and then made him pay because he was interested in someone else. He did it the wrong way, but he definitely didn't deserve all the drama that she brought upon his head.

I'm still a Jonathan Majors fan and I think that he has learned his lesson. God can bring us down to the lowest of the low and bring us back up for us to be a testimony to someone else. I pray that he continues to heal. The devil will always make you feel like you're nothing when he feels like you have overstepped your boundaries. Love you brother❤❤❤

Accepting the award on stage at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, Majors, 34, said: 'I think people want to know about last year. As a black man in the criminal justice system, I felt anger, sadness, pain, shock. When they took me out of my apartment in handcuffs, I didn't feel that way.' He continued: "I didn't feel like Jonathan Majors, Mr. Creed, Mr. Kang; I felt like a kid who was a little scared and weak, despite the support and evidence that was in my favor, I knew shit was wrong." ". ". 'And it was bad because of who I was and what I am. This is what happens to black people too often.” Major later gave credit to his faith, stating, "The God I serve has put me in a position where I have had to embody that word more than I ever wanted or wanted." 'We live in a world where men, black men in particular, are considered superheroes or supervillains, but I have realized, personally, that I am neither of those. I am imperfect. I have flaws, I recognize them. I love my job.' Towards the end, he told Meagan: 'I love you, I love you beyond all limits, with all my strength, with all my heart I love you,' while also greeting his nine-year-old daughter, Ella. And in early March of this year, Good opened up about her romance with Majors, telling People, "I'm in love, I'm transitioning, I'm healing, I'm growing [and] I'm getting excited." Whats Next.' 'Yes, just a lot of things at once. But what I can say is that I am happier than I have been in a long time.” The "Lovecraft Country" star also thanked his mom, remembering that she stood behind him when his guilty verdict was read and told him, "It's okay, son." Just ahead of the awards ceremony, Variety and Deadline reported that Majors has booked his first movie role since his assault conviction in "Merciless," a revenge thriller set to be directed by Denis Villeneuve's brother, Martin Villeneuve.

This world will tell you it's a sign of weakness, I don't know, maybe so. All I know is after I cried and after she kissed my tears I felt renewed I felt stronger. The power of witnessing black women loving and protecting a powerful yet vulnerable black man is astounding. Bless them and him. As a white woman who is blessed to be in love with and created a family with my Jamaican Canadian childhood sweetheart, I promise to honour, love, respect, and protect him as he does me and as we have been the past 30 years. Bless you all. Black love is powerful. Shame on his ex. She's an embarassment.
