THANK YOU SO MUCH DOMO ! I am glad you enjoyed this ! In rugby the most points (5) for a touchdown after the goal line. It is called a try. After that the team can score another 2 by kicking between the goal posts. As for tackles, the main rule now is not to go for the head. And actually, some say football is more dangerous, because the helmet and all the padding makes you feel invincible and so you have no caution. If you want to get further into old school sports, then I have more requests for you. The next one is probably the best video I ever made. It is called: "Evander Holyfield - Heart [Remastered]". It is about my favorite fighter ever, Evander Holyfield. If you haven't heard of him, then he is the guy whose ear Mike Tyson has bit. Evander had the best combinations I have ever seen.

Jonah Lomu, the best. 6' 5", 260lb, 100M, 10.60. With those attributes he was unstoppable, but to realise just how good he was you need to know he fought Kidney disease throughout his career preventing him from training properly and ultimately killing him prematurely. How good could he have been is the real question.

I was told by a NZ age group at 16 years. "Watch this fella! He is going to be a great." And so he was one. Sad thing, aside from his Elarly death of avout 42 years (of heart disease due to kidney failaure), pèhaphas the greatest playè in rugby. He should have played 4-6 years in the NFL. But, it eS not to be. Roughly 6 feet 4 inches. Lomu, now? Roughly x 4.2 seconds over x 40 yards.

O could add, that zjonsh Lomu (he belongs to us all) could run run closr te 4 seconds from a 40 yards (from a standing start) carrying some 110 weight (mostly muscle bur likely some small body fat. I gave, as a schoool-bot and teen-age forward fine into Samon forwards. Broadly-speaking, this is not recommended. ) Where does NZ implicate rugby players? Mostly from Maori and Islanders.

Correct, his power, size and speed made him very difficult to stop. Just remember these are professional players who are used to tacking numerous times a game, so they know how to tackle! It’s wonderful to see your interest in rugby, but the only way to learn about the game is to watch a video of the laws of rugby. There are several on here. Yes after they score a “try” for 5 points they get to kick a “conversion “for 2 more, these are NFL touchdowns and points after. Also they must touch the ball down to score (where the NFL term comes from as the sport is derived from rugby) and the conversion is taken in front of that point, so they try to get as close to the posts to make the kick easier. However they can be tackled until they place the ball down. Sadly Jonah died in 2015, much missed. Oh and just think one thing…Americans say “why aren’t they wearing pads?”, the rest of the world ask “why are they wearing pads?”…. You changed the game as you thought it too dangerous, everyone else didn’t. Rugby World Cup is on now and check out women’s rugby as well!

6ft 5, 265lbs - and at the speed he could run usually took 5 guys to take him down. The man is a legend. RIP Jonah. Thanks for all the thrills.

A try, is like a touch down in NFL and is worth 5 points. Teams with the ball will attack their opponents goal line in order to score a try. The try is then converted with a kick at goal from the position on the goal line opposite to where the try is scored. The team without the ball will try to prevent their opponents from scoring while trying to get possession of the ball. Passes cannot be forwards of yourself. In other words passes are in a slight backwards direction. Teams can be penalised for certain infringements. These can result in kicks at goal which are worth 3 points. I forgot to mention that a conversion of a try is worth 2 points. Most players wear mouth guards because they want to get married one day. Kia ora from New Zealand 💪🇳🇿

It's called a try when we score. Was 4 points for a try. Now it has changed to 5. You must get it to the opposition's end zone and put downward pressure on the ball on the ground. If you drop it, it is opposition ball. You can pass the ball to any player on your team as many times as you like, but only behind you, you can pass forward. You can kick forward and anyone can kick. Yes why they could tackle him was speed n power. He was a giant but he had speed and once he got going you couldn't stop him. They way to stop him was to kick in behind and make him turn and retrieve the ball then catch him there before he picks up speed. Put him under pressure with high balls to his side so he is not at the end of back movement. We play rugby in New Zealand from when we can walk. Yes a conversion is taken from the point you put the ball down in the opposition end zone 25 m out in front of the posts that is 2 points.

5 points for a try 2 points for conversion after try is scored 3 points for a penalty kick if other teams infringes also this man played with a illness all his career to say that imagine if he was fully fit with no complications he was offered to play NFL but wanted the Black Jersey instead was also offered $3 million from a Nrl Canterbury Bulldogs which would of made him the highest paid League player at that time which he did play growing up

They can't all just go for him at once, if they do that the other players on the other team are left with nobody defending them, it leaves big holes for Lomu to pass to somebody else and they score.

You cant pass the ball forward ball has to go back wards to playing line. Can kick forward and chase. When you cross the line its called a try (touchdown usa) its 5 points, then after every try is a conversion (kick at goal) thats 2 points, penalty kick though is 3 points, ball goes to outside of side line is a lineout and ball goes dead or knock on forward is normally a scrum, first 8 players 1-8 are forwards and the other 7 players 9-15 are backs
