It was playing in the car radio when we were driving home from my son's boarding school to which we had returned him on Sunday evening, and we were happy that we had found a place for him where he felt so well. Twelve days later, when he was again with us, I found him dead in his bed in the morning.

I know this song from my childhood in the early eighties. I didn't understand english back then, nor did I have an idea what the song was about. It was just sort of a magnetic tune from the radio. So I can tell that it's actually Vangelis' music and sounds that sort of implanted this song into my subconsciuos mind. It was just a few years ago that I finally learned that this is a work of Jon Anderson and Vangelis. How wonderful to learn that the lyrics and meaning of the song are as uplifting and inspiring as the music was to me as a little child! RIP Vangelis. So long and thanks for the music.

On a quiet Sunday evening on my way from my desk to the toilet, I suddenly had this wonderful music track "in my head" that I hadn't heard for years. So I wondered a lot, brainstormed and came up with some lovely options. Three or four days later, I read about Vangelis' death and wondered even more. On Saturday, the 21.5.2022, I received an email from my mother, informing me that my grandpa had passed away at 92 in a residential home. -> On my brother's 39th birthday, 2 years and 15 days after grandma and at the peak of the Pleiades portal. THANK YOU! 💖

You ask me where to begin Am I so lost in my sin You ask me where did I fall I'll say I can't tell you when But if my spirit is lost How will I find what is near Don't question I'm not alone Somehow I'll find my way home My sun shall rise in the east So shall my heart be at peace And if you're asking me when I'll say it starts at the end You know your will to be free Is matched with love secretly And talk will alter your prayer Somehow you'll find you are there. Your friend is close by your side And speaks in far ancient tongue A seasons wish will come true All seasons begin with you One world we all come from One world we melt into one Just hold my hand and we're there Somehow we're going somewhere Somehow we're going somewhere You ask me where to begin Am I so lost in my sin You ask me where did I fall I'll say I can't tell you when But if my spirit is strong I know it can't be long No questions I'm not alone Somehow I'll find my way home Somehow I'll find my way home Somehow I'll find my way home Somehow I'll find my way home

I listen to anything of Jon's collabs with Vangelis, let alone his solo work, or his work with Yes, and I am always reminded why he has been a spiritual inspiration for me. No dogma, no "rules," save that of living a life of open-hearted, loving non-judgment. Jon is truly a Higher Being showing the world what Love is, bottom line.

I want this at my funeral
What a great collaboration - has always been a favourite of mine. A fitting song to mark the passing of Vangelis.
Jon - this is a song that speaks to me to this day - Friends of Mr. Cairo is a fantastic album. So sad to hear of Vangelis' passing recently. This song is a mighty anthem and I thank you and Master Papathanassiou for it! Peace, sir.
Rest in peace, Vangelis.
The lyrics seems like a beautiful poem!!!

Super, super, super. A voice from outer space! 💪🏻👍🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
THANK YOU! 💖
Jon and Vangelis the best partnership all the time

Dude?
my partner always quoted these lyrics to me....when i was in a dark place and in the wrong relationship....she sat back and watched my world burn...yet she always never judged...and saw that there was something in myself and all humans...there's another side to life...just be honest to yourself and YOU will find your way home.peace and respect for those that find their way.
Your friend is close by your side And speaks in far ancient tongue A seasons wish will come true All seasons begin with you One world we all come from One world we melt into one Just hold my hand and we're there Somehow we're going somewhere Somehow we're going somewhere You ask me where to begin Am I so lost in my sin You ask me where did I fall I'll say I can't tell you when But if my spirit is strong I know it can't be long No questions I'm not alone Somehow I'll find my way home Somehow I'll find my way home Somehow I'll find my way home Somehow I'll find my way home

the song of HuMaNiTy in 2022!........ a beautiful synth lullaby from 1982!........... the best synth decade ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...................
This is one of my absolute favorite Jon and Vangelis tracks, alongside "So Long Ago, So Clear." I listen to anything of Jon's collabs with Vangelis, let alone his solo work, or his work with Yes, and I am always reminded why he has been a spiritual inspiration for me. No dogma, no "rules," save that of living a life of open-hearted, loving non-judgment. Jon is truly a Higher Being showing the world what Love is, bottom line.
awesome. Jon and vangelis.xx
